I got the ElecFylo Level 2 EV charger for my wife’s car a few months ago, and we’re really happy with it. It took a while for my electrician friend to install the circuit—about two months—but once that was done, I had the charger up and running in minutes with no issues since. Both mounting the base and setting up the app were easy. The charger itself is well-built and comes with lots of features, including an RFID card option. We don’t use that, but my wife uses the app to schedule and monitor charging. The charging cable is a hefty 27 feet long, thick, and sturdy. We have another EV charger on the other side of the garage for my car that provides more amps, but the ElecFylo charger has a much better cable, a more comprehensive app, and overall, it's just a better product. In terms of charging performance, the ElecFylo does a great job. We’ve used it enough to know that in spring and summer, it can charge my wife’s EV from 50% to 90% in about 3.25 hours. While it’s a bit slower than my 48-amp charger, it’s fast enough for us and much quicker than any public chargers in our area. This is a first rate value in EV chargers. My wife and I both drive EVs and because of this I've set up charging stations at home as well as at her office and my office. Her needs were such that I really didn't want to drop a ton on a high end charger but I still wanted to get a quality product that offered all the functionality she needed. This one checked all of the boxes. What really impressed me is that it offers all of the features you'd expect from a first rate EV charger and then some at a very reasonable price. For starters, it offers all of the safety protections that you need such as overvoltage, undervoltage, short circuit, etc. The unit meets the UL standards as well as those of several other similar organizations. It is also FCC and CP65 safety certified. It offers a nice feature set for the price point. It has a large, easy to read/use screen as well as a robust smartphone app. It also has RFID card functionality. It is wi-fi and Bluetooth capable and even has a 27 foot cable. I purchased a high end charger for our home and it only came with a 21 foot cable. Best case scenario, you usually only get a 25 foot cable so the 27 foot cable is a great addition.
