This can holds my trash! The doors open and they close! Actually, the size is great, it has a smaller footprint than other trashcans but holds the same (or possibly more). Also, the Eko brand bags are excellent quality, too.

Purchased the trash can less than 3 months ago. Worked fine for the first month although the sensor seems a bit sensitive. After 1 month was up the phantom triggers started happening. The trash can would randomly open when no one was there. It would then stay open thinking something is keeping it open. Cleaning the sensor and lid doesn’t fix the issue. Only way it seems to fix it temporarily is turning the lid off leaving it off for a while and then back on. However only works for less than an hour then the lid would randomly open again. Contacted support opened a ticket 2 weeks ago, sent video evidence and no responses or follow ups. Very disappointed with the purchase as this was our second eko trash can. The first one lasted years. This one is not as well built and feels cheap for what was paid. Avoid.

I’m really happy with the Mirage-X 47L Touchless Motion Sensor Trash Can. The motion detection is fast and reliable—the lid pops open with a quick wave and closes smoothly and quietly, sealing in odors well. It feels sturdy and stable, and the brushed stainless finish looks clean and modern while being easy to wipe down; fingerprints haven’t been a big issue. Color-wise, the brushed steel fits nicely with my kitchen. My only hiccup was the sample bags: the can uses Code Z, but it arrived with Code F, which made bag changes tricky at first. I reached out to customer service and they sent the correct trial pack right away—Code Z fits perfectly. Overall, it’s a sleek, dependable can that’s easy to clean and keeps scents under control, and I appreciate that the company took care of the bag issue quickly.

This is a really great trash bin when you don't have a trash can that is inside your cabinets. As it automatically opens and closes, I don't have to use my dirty hands so it stays clean longer. It does a good job of containing odors, even without using any freshener. The one thing I'd mention is when I use regular 13-gallon trash bags, I really have to stretch the top to fit the liner, so might not be a good option for someone with no upper body strength. Also, this is the second one I've had as the first one, the motor stopped working after almost 4 years of service. But, I was so pleased, I purchased the exact same one again.

I recently got a EKO Mirage-x 47 Liter/12.4 Gallon touchless electric trash can with a motion sensor, and it’s honestly one of those things you don’t realize you need until you have it. The sensor works really well—you just wave your hand a few inches above the lid and it opens, which is perfect when your hands are full or messy. After a few seconds, it closes gently and quietly on its own, so there’s no slamming noise or extra wear and tear. I also love that it keeps things more hygienic since you don’t have to touch the lid, which helps reduce germs. The tight seal also keeps odors from escaping. Setup was super easy: just add batteries, attach the lid, and flip the switch. Plus, the stainless-steel design looks sleek and modern. Overall, it’s a simple upgrade that makes the kitchen cleaner and more convenient.

Exactly as shown and described. Was delivered in great condition. Was easy to set up. Works well, and has a large capacity. The inner can securely holds the trash bag. Bags are easy to put on and take off. The motion detection has never failed. After opening it gives you a generous 5-6 seconds before closing. For the most part it keeps mild smells inside. Worth the price.
