The thing is beautiful, color is rich and will definitely last in the Houston weather. It is, however a little narrower than most, not as laid back or as comfortable as them. I purchased these chairs as a Christmas gift for my husband . The second chair would have been for me. Since it was winter we decided not to open them until spring so we could just assemble them on the deck and not have to assemble inside and then move them. The boxes they came in were not damaged so we assumed they were OK. That was not a good idea. We went to open them up in the spring, only to find one of the chairs was broken. It was the side of the chair which is the main support so we can't fix it. Someone must have dropped it very hard during shipping for it to break off the way it did. The return window was only two months so I wasn't able to return them and get another set of two. Since they are sold in a set of 2 I can't just order another one. That was disappointing. I wish there was a way to contact seller directly just to get the one chair replaced. I didn't need to get another two. At any rate, it is a nice looking chair, comfortable for the type of chair and was fairly easy to assemble. Two people putting together is better. Don't tighten the screws until you have the whole chair put together. Hopefully they last a while. ... show more

A very nice product. I put together by myself and took maybe 20 minutes a chair. I really like the chairs. The only thing we added was a cushion to make it a little softer but I am very happy with this purchase.

Update - I’m changing my review from 3 stars to 5 simply because the seller was fantastic to work with. They contacted me after my review and made everything right. The chairs look great so I’m happy. I ordered two chairs and they look great. Only reason I’m giving 3 stars is because of the construction. I put the first one together and had great difficulty fitting the last piece and lining up the screw holes. The second chair was much worse because a number of the screw holes were too big and the screws would just fall out. I ended up using Gorilla Glue in the screw holes to hold the screws in place. I would have considered exchanging the second chair but didn’t want the hassle of taking apart my work, boxing everything back up, and sending it back. ... show more
