Features

  • Easy installation and simple operation: For beginners, if you don't know how to use 3D slicing software, you can directly download the model file (Gcode file) to the TF card, insert it into the printer, and start printing. Press the "+" button to put the material in. If you need to replace or remove the material, press the "-" button and wait for a while to pull it out. After the material is put in, press the play button to start printing. The X1 3D printer is also suitable for children, but it needs to be done under the guidance of parents.
  • Important steps: Leveling is the most important part of using this printer. Press the home button to start leveling, when the nozzle touches the magnetic plate, disconnect the power and start leveling. If the printer is not leveled properly, the magnetic plate may be damaged by being squeezed by the nozzle. If the nozzle is too far from the magnetic plate, the printed model will not stick to the magnetic plate. Please watch the leveling manual or video carefully
  • HIGH PRECISION PRINT HEAD: 3D printer's nozzle uses a professional all-metal nozzle to ensure the best printing temperature and minimize the risk of printing errors. In addition, the printers kit has a layer resolution of up to 0.05 mmr, guarantees the accuracy of the print model. Dual fans provide better heat dissipation for faster and more even modeling.(Note: This mini 3D printer doesn't have the Resume Print Function, if there is a power failure it will print from the beginning .)
  • FAST HEATING AND PRINTING: X1 printers machine are much easier to use for beginners. It comes with a unique key system that allows you to start, stop and easily control the printing process. The nozzle is heated evenly, it only takes 5 minutes, and the temperature of the nozzle can reach 180 degrees, which can meet the temperature requirements of the PLA material pressure. (Do not touch the nozzle with your hands, if the nozzle has excess filaments, please remove it with the help of other tools)

  • First time set up tips
So first, never had a 3D printer and first timer, never done any 3D stuff. Nifty printer, got it last evening had the first sample printing in 30 minutes. Well packaged in 3 layers of molded form. So assembly tips. 1 - cut a piece of paper to the size of the magnetic table ~100mm x 100 mm so its easy to level the table/setup print head 2 -My table came with 2 magnetic printing bases so took one off and left one to set up the print head. 3 -When you assemble the X-Z part (the vertical part , there is a wire with a white plug. You want to kind of turn it side ways and put it through the square black hole at the bottom and bring it from under to plug it in or it can get in the way of the micro switch. I did not care for the included small screw driver, I grabbed a bigger one. 4 - When you going to setup the head , make sure the power is OFF, move the table to the center, push/pinch each end down and tighten the screws to put space between the head, then insert the paper, move the head manually to each end and loosen the screws so the paper slides under and will not catch the head. I used a phone flashlight to help. after doing all 4 corners, i pressed the home button and turned power OFF and rechecked and had to do some minor adjusting. then i hit the (-) button and made sure to do it three times and confirmed in fact the head default went to 3 cm as they say it will (no idea exactly but looked right). 5. The TF card comes already plugged in a USB stick (I got 2 USB sticks) 6. I pulled it off, pushed it into the TF slot on the side (note it goes in one way or you'll have to flip it). I pushed the PLAY button , it read the TF card and printed out a sample rocket. Now I have to learn blender and what ever slicer program to create objects. (I googled, ended up on youtube that has a lot of videos. 7. I thought i was being clever and order this giant spool plastic whatever (pictured) to use but need to return , no way it will fit the machine - As others have observed the spool holder, hmmm gosh they could have at least given a decent spool but the machine seems quite happy feeding from that mess. I put the foam stick on feet on bottom but really seems fine without them. I do wish they had a on/off switch so gotta unplug. I'll post on durability if i have an issue , otherwise assume its functional at least for the 1st year warranty period. ... show more

  • Low cost for a reason.
The 3D Printer is just ok, that's all. This product isn't really good for entry level for those who want to get a 3D printer and doesn't want to spend too much. I recommend save up for a $200 dollar printer instead of this one. Go for Creality instead, cheap and easy to set up for slicing and printing your items. This X1 mini 3D printer has setup issues and isn't recognized by many slicers software. The durability didn't last long, and just takes too slow to print. Overall don't buy it because it's cheap. Look into a product then invest. ... show more

  • Not what I expected.
Overall, for its size, it's not a bad printer for starting out. It's limited to the equivalent of a 100mm cube, so don't expect a super detailed print. What I was able to print, before it quit working was adequate. After 8 days, it stopped reading the TF card and when trying to extract the filament, it pulls more in. If you plan on using the larger spools of filament, plan on using a secondary method to hold the spool as the onboard spool holder appears to be designed for small spools. Since support will probably end up coming from China, I'm sure it will be a slow process to work through the issues. UPDATE: After working with it a little bit more, I got it going again. Apparently, every so often, the TF card needs to be reformatted. As for the filament issue, I'm more stubborn than the printer. ... show more

  • Great printer for the price
I haven’t had it for very long but so far it’s blown my expectations away, it was very easy to set up, pretty much 1 connector and 2 bolts, you have to level the bed but that was really easy, it auto calibrates so there’s no messing that up, it’s relatively quick, makes pretty high quality prints, even when they’re small, and it’s not even very loud. I already had blender experience for working with unity so slicing was a cakewalk, it’s small but this was literally the cheapest printer I could find on Amazon, my only complaint is the filament holder, it’s not strong enough or tall enough to hold a full 1kg reel but I fixed that problem by hammering a screwdriver into my desk, maybe I’ll print a holder sometime so I can get that screwdriver back, anyway incredible printer for the price if you’re looking for something cheap that will get the job done get this one. ... show more

  • Returned
This product worked for two prints then stopped working. I’ve seen this product reviewed before with good reviews so it may have just been a problem with the one we received.

  • Trash prints
The media could not be loaded. Very cute little printer. Set up was easy took 10 mins. Have not used just yet but powers up fine small enough to set up on desk. And very quiet. Added two build plates as well as 2 card readers included. After setting it up and getting started it was difficult to figure out and two prints and it was trash prints ... show more

  • My first 3D printer
After a long time using a publicly accessible ultimaker, I finally decided to get my own 3d printer. I shopped around looking for a printer < $200 with easy assembly, autoleveling, a heated + removable bed, and nozzle temp that could print PETG…. Essentially i wanted an entry level ender 3 clone with a few extra convenience features. Overall, this printer has met or exceeded my expectations and is a great value for anyone buying their first printer. My criticisms mostly stem from some gaps in product documentation and my concerns regarding the difficulty of upgrading this printer should one want to do more advanced projects. ... show more

  • Good for first time 3D printer
Our son really wanted a 3D printer. It was difficult to set up. We connected with a friend who is an avid 3D printer buff and helped get it going. It doesn’t print as well as the more expensive brands. Sometimes it glitches and misprints. The design at the end is not as smooth or nicely put together like the more expensive brands. If you print a whistle, don’t expect it to actually work, etc. sometimes things aren’t printed all the way or properly. For a kid just learning it’s great. But compared to more expansive models it’s not work it, I’d save your money and go for a better one. ... show more
