Not only does this cutting board look nice and clean in our kitchen but the best part of this product are the cutting ‘sheets’ that come with it, and are stored inside. They come in an array of colors and are labeled for what you should/could use it for…like one sheet is for beef, another for fish, bread, veggies, etc.. What’s great about these sheets, which would be better described as a thicker, but bendable plastic, which allows you to chop everything, and then just slightly bend the sheet and all the food slides right into your pot or pan, without spilling and making a mess. A cutting board might not be the sexiest item in the kitchen, but it definitely has made prepping and cooking meals for my family much more enjoyable for me. 100% recommended. ... show more

Love the bamboo wood. We leave it uncovered until we use it. If you have never tried the flex cutting boards, now is the time. I bought this after we purchased a marble countertop with a design texture we really don’t care for that much. This was the first time we had ever used flexible cutting boards. We love the fact that we can just continuously cook without having to clean because when we use one board and it gets dirty, and we need it for something else, we simply, pull out another cutting board and we’re ready to go with a clean cutting board. Very nice cutting board with a few issues. PROS - Good big size board and mats. - Easy to set on the counter and very sturdy. Doesn't slide around. - Has a nice bevel around the top so that if you cut a piece of meat on the wood/bamboo cutting surface the juice doesn't run off onto the counter. - The mats fit perfectly on the cutting board and are surrounded by the bevel so they don't slip around when cutting - I love that the mats store right inside so when my hands are full I don't have to fish around in my cupboard for a cutting board. Clean-up is MUCH easier when cutting on a plastic mat rather than directly on a cutting board. -The mats are dishwasher safe but depending on how straight they stay in the dishwasher they can warp. Then they don't fit into the board. CONS - The plastic cutting mats are pretty flimsy. I would have preferred less mats and having them be a little thicker instead so they wouldn't warp. - It is difficult to get out only 1 mat at a time. In order to use them you have to pull the whole stack out, take one off the top, and shove them back in. - The issue with shoving the mats back in is, the bottom of the cutting board is not solid like the top. The wood is in a frame around the outside. Which means, every time you try to shove them in they catch on the edge of the frame and won't go in until you lift the board push the mats up. I have gotten around that by taping the bottom mat to the bottom of the board so the others slide in and out on it smoothly without getting caught. - Quite pricey for 6 flimsy mats and a cutting board. This is a very practical item but it might not be worth the price unless you have very limited cupboard space for flat items. I am going to keep this because I have used the plastic mats, and even one use leaves cut marks in the top of the mat. If you need to buy someone an expensive gift for a house warming or something this is a good one. I have two residences and normally buy 2 of everything, one for each residence. I would not purchase a second one. ... show more

It replaced the cupboard full of random cutting boards. The inserts store nicely inside of the board and fit in the top groove perfectly. So far they seem well made, we've washed a couple in the dishwasher and they haven't really warped or anything. Overall this is a great cutting board setup, the mats also work on their own if you don't feel like pulling the entire thing out for a quick slice up! ... show more

This is a great product, works exactly as advertised. It's clever and has made mise en place so much easier. The wooden part is sturdy and does not slip around on my counter. I used to use just the plastic cutting inserts previously, but that board slipped around everywhere and never really gripped on my counter. This product is a great solution to that. Plus, you can just leave it on your counter when you're not using it, and it looks professional and sleek. And because you're cutting on the plastic inserts, the board is very easy to keep clean. The one thing that occurred to me after a few weeks of use is that it's not easy to cut multiple things simultaneously--but I just bought a second board to make up for that! ... show more

Really smart idea for a compact “set” of cutting boards. Separate cutting mats for chicken, beef, seafood, veggies, fruit and bread. I also like the grippy pads on the bottom of the board keep it from sliding on granite countertops.
