I bought this and within the 1st month, the battery would no longer charge. Sent an email to the seller's warranty department (American Lawn mower Company) explaining the issue and 1 week later without talking to anybody other than an email response saying the battery was being replaced the next day. The tiller works well, but well rooted crabgrass will stop the tines from spinning. Due to the closeness of the tines, every once in a while, I have to stop and remove grass and weeds that have wrapped around the shaft between the tines. Would not want to use this on untilled ground. It is ideal for previously tilled ground and keeping weeds at bay. I use it in my flower beds and garden. Easier than using a hoe or shovel. It tends to pile up the dirt when using it so expect to have to level the dirt with your foot or a rake when finished. ... show more

This product is incredible. I'm 68 years old and 4 feet 9 inches tall. I was all sorts of worried about the weight of this item, putting it together and basically being able to operate this tiller with ease. Yes Yes and YES. It made preparing my Iris bed so easy. It was a 2 ft wide by 40 ft long strip of land. It was a breeze. And the battery is 2/3rd full of power. Well worth the price. Go ahead. Do yourself a huge favor and buy this. You will not regret it. Surprised after 4 days of use it has long battery life, and works well in its narrow path. It’s light but feels well made. Unlike on my big gas tiller, the shorter tines are easy to rid of grass and weeds . Assembly was literally a snap.

I bought this tiller a year ago and used it twice to till my garden at the of the year. The garden is not that big 2 - 4 X 6 areas. I stored the tiller for the winter. This year i am attempting to use the tiller but the battery will not charge and no replacement batteries are able to be found.
