Did not see the info on the lid because I only read description; not the "buy it with" description. Casserole pan is nice, but what good is a glass lid, if the handle is plastic? I can't tell if the lid with the plastic handle can go in the oven. Made in China and all the instructions say is "Plastic Lids; DO NOT use in a convection oven or microwave oven". Well, the LID is GLASS, but the handle on it is plastic. I need a lid I can put in the oven on the container! Wish the handle was glass; that would make the casserole great... but it is plastic. UGH. ... show more

The bottom of the pan is perfect and just the size we needed, but the top handle melts in ther oven and the glass cracked! So disappointed! Just purchased!
