  • It is worth every pennies - Pleasant to own and play!
Color: LP3 Sunburst
Price comparison of this guitar among many others of the same specifications, this guitar stands in high price area, but it is worth the price. Before purchasing, I did read reviews. I would agree the 5 stars it deserved. This receive from my humbly another 5. The guitar was shipped quickly (a great thing for me) , very well packaged, the guitar well situated and protected in the foam around its entire body. No damages, no scratches, no detailed defects. no uneven paints. The frets, the tuners, the saddles, the pickups, elegant, good looking knobs, the switch etc. all perfect, the manufacturing, the assemblies were attentive to the details. I love it every bits. Setup: The frets are rounded and smooth, pleasant to hold and play. I like the neck contour that fit my personal feel, love the neck and fretboard wood. The weight: light. The action: strings are low enough, easy to play and no buzzes. The look: elegant to my taste. The intonation is so precisely set. One thing I would do is to mount a set of string that I would personally like. I like the treble sound from the Bridge pickup, better than many others I have purchased and DIY assembled/mod'ed. I would recommend!!! ... show more

  • Exceptional value, except for neck dive
Color: Surf green
This is a really great guitar. The neck is really the star of the show with these Eart guitars. It's amazing that stainless steel frets are still uncommon on the typical big brand guitars without having to go to custom shop, or the top of the line models. Although this Eart guitar is nice and light, it also suffers from pretty severe neck dive. You might want to counter it by adding weights in the cavity, or having to use a guitar strap that provides some grip. I did not know this before purchasing for my son, but would still do it anyway because it is still amazing for the price. ... show more

  • Great guitar
Color: LP3 Sunburst
I just got it, and it sounds really good, for the price, I don’t think you can find a better deal, looks good, sounds good, and it feels good, and cause it’s semi hollow, it’s super lightweight, 10/10 recommended, the only thing, it’s that you can see the glue of the centerblock inside the f hole, but it doesn’t affect anything, and only you can see it, people around you can’t, and since it’s semi hollow, it has quite the neck dive, if it doesn’t bother you, go for it ... show more

  • Get one while you can
Color: LP3 Sunburst
this one bats completely out of its league. Zero buzz or shielding issues, the pickup are dead silent, full volume, full tone. Perfect packaging, setup, intonation adjustment, no fret buzz, nice action. Balances good on a strap. Very visually striking in an oddly subdued kind of way. Zero quality control issues (there’s no overspray in f hole or anywhere). No weird spots or spots where finish is thin or dry looking. The finish is glassy smooth and doesn’t feel cheap or plastic like. Even the knobs are nice, and I usually always want to upgrade those. I had real thinline type 2, and a custom and a deluxe. This is really a better guitar than the vintage American ones I had back in the 80s. This one is ready to slug it out in any lodge, anywhere USA, for a 4 hour set. Stays in tune real well even with serious bending which is easy to pull off with the compound radius neck. ... show more

  • I thought it was a keeper, but…
Color: Surf green
UPDATE: Returning this, mostly due to the major neck dive issue when standing up and playing with a strap, plus some other smaller things (like tuning stability). It is a stunning guitar to look at though and I love its light weight and fret work. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I got this 2 days ago, and though I thought it was gorgeous, I was thinking about returning it at first, since I still preferred my American Strat quite a bit, and had wanted an inexpensive alternative to that that didn't feel like a drop in quality or playability. I didn't play this Eart yesterday, but picked it up again today and after a minor adjustment to the action and bigger tweaks to the pickup heights, I haven't been able to put this down this morning. I like that the pickup selector is similarly situated to that of my Strat, love the frets, and the tone and playability are fantastic. I can also use my Strat gig bags/cases with this, which is also a plus. The only negatives are that though it's lightweight (under 7 lbs), it still has a bit of neck dive (probably a common issue among semi-hollows), but I'll likely get used to that. It'll also stain your fingers (a common issue with these budget no-brand overseas guitars), but that always goes away. I had also bought the T-380 (Eart's modern tele) last year and ended up returning that, though I liked the specs on that better, but this one (the E-TT) easily has better tone and just feels better to play. I think it's a keeper so far. ... show more

  • Fun Guitar! Easy to play, looks and feels great too.
Color: White
This is the same neck that I have on another EART guitar that I bought last year so I knew what I was getting. And I'm not disappointed with this one either. It's light weight and well balanced. I got the white one and it looks classy with the black pickguard. All I added was a strap to hang it around my neck and I tuned it up and it was ready to play. The pickups really surprized me - I won't need to change them. The tuners are nice and fine too. Even the strings are acceptable as I get the guitar settled in. I love it! ... show more

  • Neck is very 'thin' for big-hand musicians.
Color: Surf green
The action is great. The tone is excellent. The construction and intonation is also great. The only thing I found that was a problem was that the neck thickness was too thin near the body. I have large fingers and this exceptionally thin neck near the body of the guitar was more or less a 'show stopper' for me. I had to return the guitar. I have another Eart guitar (the 335 model that has since been discontinued), and it is absolutely GREAT! Neck thickness and all. Based on my good experience with that Eart model I purchased this Tele model. BUT, the Tele neck was simply not up to what I was expecting. If you have small hands it will probably be fine. However, if you have larger hands, this guitar neck may present some challenges. ... show more
