  • Its a great first 64mm EDF jet especially as a BNF!!
Its my first 64mm EDF plane and got it as a bind and fly model. I bound it to my Spektrum NX8 transmitter and checked the surface controls. SAFE select was nice to have. I would NOT recommend this as a first EDF plane, that honor belongs to the cheaper yet very capable UMX twin 30mm EDF A10 Thunderbolt II. It IS a great first 64mm EDF jet!! There is a lot to like about this plane, it was easy to put together but you will need some FoamTac or Foam2Foam glue. The plane is very light and the motor sounds really "jet" like when it spins up! Although it is just a aileron/elevator/nose wheel controlled plane with no rudder it handles really well for a "bank and yank" setup. You could add a small flap to the front nose so that you can have some influence on where the nose is pointed if you care to do that. I crashed mine and using some glue and tape it came back together nice and flew good as new...your mileage may vary! I am just saying it depends of course how it breaks and your willingness on how far your willing to go to repair it. Being that its made of foam it does lend itself to being glued and taped back together, toothpicks also helps! It IS FAST for a 64mm 4S EDF plane. I think because it is very light and that the airframe is really good. It does use a carbon fiber spar in the wings and visually looks great in the air. This plane is able to hit over 100mph in a dive and just really cool! I highly recommend for RC pilot that wants a FUN 64mm EDF! ... show more

  • Very fun and easy to fly, just crashed due to landing too hard
This plane was delivered in one day and was very easy and simple to put together. You need some kind of foam safe CA glue or something similar. The first time I tried to fly, it didn’t get off the ground because I underestimated the takeoff distance. I glued it back together and flew it again. it flew very well in safe mode and I love it. the only reason it crashed is because i landed hard on astroturf. overall I give the plane a 9/10. Very smooth flight, easy to fly, easy to assemble, just takes some space to get up and the landing will take some practice. ... show more

  • very stable
this plane is just right for beginners ,using the spektrum as3x and safe select its hard to go wrong. very fast and maneuverable with safe off ,very stable and forgiving with it on . nice set up ,even better if you already have a spektrum transmitter just bind it and fly it, I've had 2 and very satisfied ... show more

  • Great Plane BUT!!!
I really like this plane, flies great especially when in safe mode. Good for someone's 2nd or maybe 3rd plane BUT the landing gear are terrible the main gear bends on any hard landing. If not straightened perfectly it causes the plane to steer really hard left or right depending on the bend and you don't have enough nose wheel steering to correct it, so hopefully you have enough space and speed to take off. The nose gear linkage arm is terrible as well, the slightest impact with grass causes it to bend at the fuselage, which can be straightened but after enough time will break. Now just like other reviews have said the nose of the plane by the intake ducts is weak it is the first area to break in a crash. I recommend to fly without the landing gears, hand launch at full throttle in safe mode reference YouTube for hand launching, put clear packing tape along the bottom that contacts the ground for the belly landings to prevent scratches to the paint and foam. If you have any issues with the plane rolling straight, elevator or aileron servos having different travel rates or any doubts the plane will fly STOP don't force a flight it will end in a crash and you'll have a broken plane like I do. This plane is really amazing flying, makes you enjoy the hobby ... show more

  • Good 2nd EDF Jet, Easy to Fly
The media could not be loaded. This is a great jet. Probably my favorite. It's fun to fly, it can do all the tricks, and has a pretty common battery. Got enough power to do climbs and loops and is fast enough to do barrel rolls. Highly suggested for someone new to EDF.

  • Bootleg....
Dont install the battery from the illustrations that the instructions say to do or your plane is gonna do a header on your maiden flight and break the fuselage in two like it did on mine.....BS!

  • Got a lemon
If you get a good one, this jet is excellent, however that was not the case for me. I've spent the last few months attempting to fly this jet. Every time, it flies straight into the ground and breaks the nose and cockpit off. My flaps work, have a fully charged battery, safe is active, and still.... every time.... flies 5 feet right into the ground. I have plenty of other RC planes with safe that fly great, and it is my hope to get a replacement of this F15. I really think I got a lemon, and their is something seriously wrong with it that is beyond my knowledge and skill. ... show more

  • Good starter jet
I would rate it 4 stars due to the lack of rudder, but for the price and performance it’s 5. Very good beginner jet. When I say beginner I mean you have flying experience and are ready to move up to jets. This plane is plenty quick and can get away from you quickly if you’re not confident. I used to fly a ton but took a couple years break and this is great for getting back in to it. Very direct and rides on rails. Handled 20mph winds very well last time I flew it. ... show more
