I bought two of these. I don’t use them often, so I’ve only used them a handful of times. I went to use one the other day, and it wouldn’t turn on. Then I went to the other one, and it wouldn’t turn on, either. I’ve had one less than a year, and the other one I’ve had for a year and a half. I contacted the seller/manufacturer and they did not respond. UPDATE: I heard from customer service and worked with a very kind lady named Helen. Both players were replaced and they work fine. I have had this player for over a month now, and I love it. I was looking for a simple DVD player - no fancy stuff like combo player with Blu-ray player, VHS player, etc. - just an easy to use, reliable DVD player to play all my old DVDs on. This is the machine that does that. Easy to set-up. The picture, using the HDMI port, is super clear. Set up was easy and straightforward. The remote is user-friendly and the buttons are located where you would expect them to be; and the buttons feel like buttons.
