The media could not be loaded. I live in a small apartment, and I wanted something with good sound and, primarily, a solid receiver to hook up my upgraded center channel speaker. If you're in a small space, I wouldn't recommend getting such a large center channel speaker like I did, as the system already comes with a good one. The receiver has been great and doesn't overheat like the ones I've seen at Best Buy. It works perfectly with HDMI ARC and also supports digital optical. Unfortunately, it creates a noticeable lag with Xbox, so I wouldn't recommend using it for gaming. However, if you connect the HDMI to the TV and plug the Xbox directly into the TV, you won't experience any lag. Overall, it's an awesome system for the price. I even checked on Prime Day, and it didn't go on sale for any less. At $400, it's a fair deal, and if you find it cheaper, it's a steal. ... show more

The sound produced from this system is similar to a pair of unicorns making passionate love in a field of flowers on a warm summer day. Sweet, loving and incredibly booming! Easy to install. Made my wife very happy.

I love this setup. came with all parts, not opened and works great! Everything about this is great, priced $200 off, sound ect ect. Definately not for a first time user as there are soo many settings to get set up and working but this is a good thing if you have at least some experience cause it's worth it in the end. Only con i can think of is the wire it comes with is cheap so order a better gauge wire ( i got the 14 gauge 100') but otherwise this truly works and sounds so good. ... show more

While I am big fan of Yamaha Audio equipment, and have purchased alot of Yamaha stuff over the years, since the 80s actually. This system sounds pretty good, especially for the price. However the processor does so many different things, that it does nothing easy. Eventually maybe I'll get used to that, and figure it all out. And the fact, that the complete user manual, is only online, 117 pages long. Is kinda cumbersome. But again, once I crank it up, it's pretty good for the price. ... show more

My first surround sound, so I really didn’t know what to expect. Received on time. Boxes were in good condition. Easy installation with quick set-up sheet. Speakers look great and sound even better! Hard to believe this full rich sound comes out of these small speakers! Sub woofer is big and thumps deep! I can’t believe I waited so long to get a surround sound system. It sounds great and was pretty easy to hook up! You can even change the video and audio to different channels. For example; I like to have listen to music while gaming, so I could have my Switch on while listening to my iPod. Pretty happy with my purchase, thank you!

I love this stereo. The sub woofer is loud. You can turn it louder than I need it. The system sounds really good. I'm using it in my game Room. I just have a TV and my Fluance turn table attached to it. I also used the Bluetooth feature to listen to my music. I was using a sound bar and subwoofer previously. This os way better. I have the speakers spread out and bought some brackets for the back speakers. I'm happy with this unit. It's exactly what I wanted. I'm able to hide most of the wires for the speakers. I think the wires might be the only thing that someone wouldn't want. It's not a problem for me. It took me about an hour to set it up. ... show more

Great sound. Easy set up. Great system especially for the price. Only drawback is the speaker wire they supply. Spend the $10 and buy better speaker wire. Great 5.1 system!
