This incredibly compact DVD unit is not only very affordable, it functions very well too The tv you see in the picture is only a 28 inch model The DVD player is approx 9 inches across. It is the perfect size for this tv! We aren’t majorly into tv or dvd viewing. We had a “nice” dvd player that pretty much filled the bottom of this tv. (This DVD player is less than 1/2 the size of the one we had.) My cousin transferred some family films onto DVDs and sent them to me. When I went to view one of them, I discovered our old DVD player no longer worked. I was already concerned that it might not play “homemade” DVDs, but it had apparently retired from playing any DVDs at all I wanted to see the DVDs my cousin had sent, but I didn’t want to spend the kind of money we had spent on our last DVD player (when it was purchased, a member of our household was a movie aficionado so he chose a very nice, expensive DVD player) I was astonished at how low of a price a DVD player is selling for (and a bit nervous about “getting what I paid for”) I need not have been concerned. This is a wonderful little machine. It came with both HDMI cables and RCA cables in the box. It took just a few moments to connect the HDMI cable to the tv and the dvd player. Once the dvd player was plugged in we were good to go The sound and picture quality are outstanding on even “homemade” DVDs. The functions on the remote are clear and very easy to understand. It even comes with a free three year warranty that you scan the included QR code with your smartphone camera to activate! (I am quite impressed by this!) This was a great value and was SO easy to set up! Works great and easy to use. I couldn’t be happier. It’s a nice, small size and works well. I love having an alternative when my internet is down or I just want to watch one of my many DVDs.

Style: With One Remote Control
This is a nice cheap player that does the job and plays your movie. That was all we needed so this fit the bill. It worked well for about 9 months (we used it once or twice a week more or less) until the remote just gave out. We tried several batteries and it just would not work. The player still works fine, and we still use it, but without a remote we can’t set subtitles, select things, or rewind or forward. We just pop in a movie and press play and we’re committed. The player, when stopped, does save your spot with most DVDs, so that’s handy, but you never know which ones it won’t save. So basically, it works good for the price, but it comes with some quirks down the road. ... show more

It came in a timely manner and has worked well on the dvds we have both old and the new ones. It is very compacted which is nice because the table we have our tv on is small. It is easy to set up and start playing dvds.

When I received this, it did not work. It just kept opening back up. I sent an email to the company. They replied with a list of things to try. I had already tried most of them. I tried the rest of the suggestions and it still did not work. I replied to the email. They sent out another one right away and didn't want back the one that didn't work. I haven't had any issues with this player. It was very easy to setup and it playback picks up where I left off. The OFF light stays On letting you know your saving power. I've had no issues with it freezing up on Me either. It's space saving and very easy to use. I've only used it twice, but I'll update if I have any issues. Otherwise, great value and user friendly. I've not experienced any of the issues others mentioned in the Reviews. I always read Reviews before I purchase anything! Great value! ... show more

I needed a new DVD player that would play all the forms of DVD. This advertised as such, but it did not play one of my DVDs. Also, one of the DVDs that did work got stuck and I had to unplug the machine for it to work again. It is very compact and contains all the instructions. I opened the box and it took less than 5 minutes to get it up hooked up and playing my DVDs.
