I have fine thin hair and.this dryer brush does an amazing job. Well worth the money. Less expensive brands leave my hair dry and frizzy, but this Drybar leaves it shiny and healthy.. Dries my hair quickly when wet, and does a great job with dry hair as well. Love it!!!!

I got the half shot to replace a Single Shot which was way too big for both my hands and my hair. I am 60+ years old and have never managed to give myself a half-decent (let alone entirely decent) blow-out and with this dryer-brush, I managed a GREAT blow-out for the first time ever. My hair looks fantastic. I used to let it air dry into a frizzy mess and then iron it into semi-submission but the only thing I needed the flatiron for was my bangs which are intractable even when done by a professional. I love, love, love this brush. It took about 10-15 minutes to blow out my shoulder length hair and at least half of that time was spent dealing with all the clips I used for sectioning it. I wanted to love this like other people seem to but it is just good not spectacular like other reviews say. It is easier than using a brush and a blow dryer but it doesn't do a better job in my opinion. Especially for the price. I have tried other dryer/brushes that work just as well but not as expensive. ... show more

    • Great styler for wavy hair!
I did give this product a 4 star rating because of the size. It is bigger than I expected and would have been better for my hair length if it was smaller. I actually checked the box to make sure I had the correct styler.Using it and it is great for drying and some styling.

Love this hot air brush! I have shoulder length hair that is fine, with a good bit of wave, and I needed something that would be easy to use. I ordered an oval volumizer but it was bulky, heavy, and seemed like it was for much longer hair. I did not care for the oval shape either, so I searched for a round hair dryer that would give just the right amount of lift and still be able to play up my waves. The Drybar Half Shot is the perfect size for my layers and bangs. I use the lower heat setting and then the cool air and my hair comes out better than the salon. I paid a bit more than I expected to but I am extremely happy with the results and am hoping that it lasts a long time. ... show more

I am so happy with this blow dryer brush!!!! I have put off buying one of these for quite a while because I had a big hot tools dryer brush already. But I was never satisfied with that one, and it just collected dust over time. The issue was that it was loud, hot, and just awkward to use. Well, I finally bit the bullet and got the half shot during cyber Monday sales. I am SO glad I did! The half shot is PERFECT for a quick style with minimal damage. I had 10 mins to get ready today. I parted my hair into a top and bottom section, used a smoothing serum, and gave a few twists on low to each section. My hair looked so shiny and smooth, and had such a nice flow to it. And because of its smaller size, it even worked for my bangs! This brush was quiet, yet powerful and efficient. Minutes after I got to work I was complimented on how “amazing” my hair looked.
