These drum sticks seem to be unfinished (raw wood) but are nicely sanded. They are comfortable to use. These sticks are lighter than my usual sticks. They would not be suitable for heavy-hitting rim shots or persistently riding the edge of a cymbal. They would probably sound great for those purposes but they would get shredded in no time. Personally, I really like lighter sticks and these feel really nice to play. The price is low but these are quality sticks.
