So I bought these as a gift. I know a kid that was taking up drumming. He had no previous experience. So I bought these as a gift for him so he could have his own drum sticks. I do go with him to his drum lessons over the last couple months. I asked the music teach if these were good drum sticks. The teacher told me yes they are good drum sticks for a beginner, but if he sticks with drumming that in the future he might need more advanced or better ones. So these work well for a beginner. Got them today and tried them out, they seem to be a pretty decent pair of drum sticks that don't feel cheap at all. They're a little on the thicker side but other than that, they have a nice feel and they don't sound half as bad either. For around 6 to 9 bucks, can't remember the price at this moment, for 2 pairs? Not bad. I would definitely recommend them just to have an alright pair of 2 pairs of drum sticks just in case, no complaints here ... show more
