I’m not a drummer, but my friend who plays on my set is. He usually breaks a stick every few months, so I was due for a new set. I read that nylon tips were better for the heads on my Roland electronic drum set, so I decided to give these a try. My buddy said they were great. Well balanced and a good feel. Pros: Lightweight Cons: Durability could be better. I have been used to playing with the Pro Mark fire grain sticks. Those work fantastic and hold up for a LONG time.

I used other brands.. but someone advised Promark. They were light (I will have to get used to playing light sticks) but they have a great tone especially on the rim shot! Has a sweet "Knock" sound for my Rimshots/Side sticks, I want to sample these and use for drum replacements!!

Received these sticks only a couple of days ago. I thought I'd try them out as I am a huge fan of promark sticks. Since promark makes these I figured they'd be of decent quality. One stick split on me just after two days. Less than two hours of practice on it. While hitting a light weight bronze mute cymbal. It's quite disappointing. Hopefully the other five sticks will prove to be better, but so far, these aren't any better than the cheap OnStage drum sticks. ... show more
