Personally prefer hats w/o adjusting mechanism on back, including the half-circle hole above. But it's very hard to find a hat w/o it. Found! This hat is lightweight, w/o being see-through or mesh; has a well designed and crafted integrated stretch band covered in same material as the hat (no cheap exposed 1" elastic); has a good shape that remains once on head (w/o puckering, sagging, etc.) Like it so much, going to order another before the design is changed. Only recommendation is to consider 1 size larger than size chart. I measured and followed (am 160 lb) ordering M-L size. Too tight. Returned/reordered L-XL. Perfect fit. Snug so wont blow off in wind w/o giving me a terrible hat-hair. :) Cheers. ... show more

this is a fairly lightweight/form fitting hat. It hugs your head...and does not have a high crown. Unfortunately, Amazon sent me the wrong size...so I had to return it. The L/XL was too small for my 7 3/4" head.

We recently moved to Florida and my husband bikes 10-12 miles at least 5 days a week even in the hot Florida sun and humidity. He loves hats and as I was looking for hats I saw super chill; so I thought we could give it a try since it was a great looking hat and we love the brand.
