It’s a great beautiful electric fire place. Heat is great but be aware you will need other heat in order to hear a house so be aware of that and the fire crackling is loud but you can turn it off. I found the remote worked perfectly for me and the changing the background color was super easy and beautiful and to me it looks realistic. Installing is super easy and the best part this company is legit and has a great product. I will update again if there’s any bad issues with heat during winter but so far this thing has been amazing. The only thing that I would change is maybe the crackling isn’t very realistic and is very loud. Other then that perfect. 5/5 stars. ... show more

This is a lovely unit. Love the flame and light setting - great look. It’s true what others say, the sound effect is ridiculous (will never use it). Maybe will be ok with just high or low heat setting (we had variable setting on our last unit.). Have only used on high one and got the chill out of the air. As winter arrives we will be using heat more frequently. For now love the ambience of the fire. ... show more

This insert is very nice and well built. Our main complaint is that the fan is not very strong. We use it to keep a relatively small TV room warm, in cold weather, it does not keep. The lighting options are really nice, the remote control not so much, plan on pushing the button more than once to get the unit to do what you are asking it. ... show more
