I work in construction and was looking for some gels for the inside of my work boots for when I have to go onto the jobsite. The uneven services were causing so much pain in my feet that they felt like they were on fire after a long shift. I put these in and GAME CHANGER! They do make the work boot a little more snug, but WORK IT! In the summer months the snugness can be hot and uncomfortable but I'll take that over the feeling of feeling as though I was walking on hot coals towards the end of the night. I do not remember buying so many of these! I got 2 orders in the mail each of them of 2 and got charged nearly 60 dlls for these which I do not remember buying despite my orders showing I bought more than one couple of them. I would never spend more than 40 dlls on these so I thought it was weird... I do like to buy these and have found them useful over the years as I've realized that many shoe brands have been lacking in their inside soles for their shoes so they start coming apart a lotttt sooner than expected and the shoes can look perfectly fine but after a few months they are already coming apart so you'll have to buy new ones constantly, I have been using these as shoe insole replacement for a few years and they have done wonders they are also very comfortable and easy to use, but I do not appreciate being sent more than what I order or being charged double for no reason :/ ??? I do not think there is a way to cancel this order as I do plan on using these nonetheless but these were way too many and I definitely know I did not order thattt many. ... show more

These are good for casual shoes, but they tend to fall out of the shoe when taking them off, and sometimes slip a bit when putting them on. I prefer the sport version, which also offers better arch support.

    • A good solution for older or hard-soled shoes. Easy to use.

For the price, these are a decent way to add a bit of cushioning to an older pair of shoes. I bought mine to replace less supportive and forgiving insoles in a pair of wellies, but during the warmer weather, I'm using them in a pair of Jack Purcells. The Dr. Scholl's insoles offer a bit more arch support and gel cushioning than the insoles that came with these sneakers. I think it would be impossible to use these on top of any existing insoles unless you bought the shoes a bit larger than normal to accommodate them. (Some shoes don't have removable insoles.) I also don't think they'd necessarily replace a high-quality insole in an athletic shoe as they don't have quite the arches or the thickness of a running shoe insole, for example. Before cutting mine, I removed the insoles in the shoes I was looking to replace and lined them up to make sure I was cutting them to the right size. This process was easy, and the resulting Dr. Scholl's insoles work just fine. Since some shoes have different widths in the toes, you may not be able to use the same pair in all your shoes, should you wish to use them in multiple pairs. Also, getting them in and out of some shoes is easier than others--they are a bit tacky on the bottom, although they don't have any adhesive on them. The same thing that keeps them from slipping during wear makes them hard to place in boots or shoes with high vamps. I will probably purchase a pair to live permanently in my cowboy boots. ... show more
