After many trips to the chiropractor, massages, Motrin, I decided to give this a shot. On the very first night I slept on it, I slept a full night and got out of bed pain free! I thought it was a fluke, but night after night I have been sleeping well, and no pain. I have two real bad knees as well that keep me up at night as well, and I don’t know how or why, but they don’t even hurt anymore during the night or when getting out of bed. So besides that, the pad keeps you from getting too hot. I would recommend trying this for the money you can’t go wrong. It saved us from taking a loss on our mattress and buying a new one. It’s very comfy. If you like a really firm support, this might not be for you however. I love a good zone mattress topper. Unlike solid foam, it has grooves and areas to hit targeted pain points. I've had one on my 18 year old queen bed for years. But, my 17 year old dog got it. And I figured, eh, it probably doesn't do that much, and slept without for a few nights while waiting for this to arrive. My shoulders, hips and back immediately protested. I woke up sore, couldn't roll over comfortably, it was a rough time. This arrived, I let it expand and offgas and added it to the bed 2 days later. It's AMAZING! I can lie down and not feel pain. I very much wanted to like this mattress cover. My Temperpedic was too hard. This did not work for me. The various places that point upwardly on this hurt my body. I've ordered a mattress from Saatva . I went to their showroom and tried two mattresses. I am small, 120 pounds, and was told I needed a soft mattress. I guess you just can't fix a mattress that is too hard. I would like to add that the company reached out to me and gave me a full refund. I can say 100% that he company will work with you if the mattress cover is not right for you. They are too large to return and the company understands this. This topper definitely made our mattress more comfortable. Wanted a 4” but the price difference on those versus this option made me give this a try. Only have used for about a month so cannot speak to longevity but comfy right out of package. But of a chemical odor first couple of days but that was expected.
