After opening the box and making sure all the parts were there and undamaged, which they were, it took about 30 minutes to easily assemble, even with the simple instructions, and the wife loved it! It's extremely sturdy. Holds both of us with zero issues. It's very comfortable, and it looks great! Couldn't be happier and I definitely recommend! FYI, if you plan on moving it around, unhook the chair from the chains before moving it then simply rehang the chair. Much easier! ... show more

Material is very heavy and sturdy. It was easy to assemble by myself. I only needed someone to assist with hooking it on. I thought it was slightly bigger because the assembly video showed a lady and 3 kids on it. However, only two of us can sit on it comfortably at the same time.

The item has good reviews, so I'm wondering if I was just unlucky and received a bad product. I purchased this item because of the reviews and also because there is a nice How To video which made it all look nice and easy to put together. And to be honest this swing could very well have been an awesome item had it not been for holes not lining up correctly. I ran into that problem at least 3 to 4 times as I had to get my husband's help to put it together. You will be needing some assistance in putting it together, it is what it is. Before I get asked, no, we waited to tighten any screws until we were done putting it together. It was so frustrating because the video I had watched shows one person putting it together by themselves. I can't see how. My husband was ready to give up and willing to take short cuts when I told him no. I wasnt having it because it has been a dream of mine to own one of these pieces, so I had to pull out my small drill to widen some of the holes... frustrating. The swing comes in a few pieces, not too overwhelming and would have been easy to out together had it not been for the MISALIGNMENT. ... show more

I have been looking at swings like this for over a year now, when I saw this one, and the fact that it was Prime, I knew I had to try it. It arrived in a timely manner, I put it together myself. I have arthritis in my hands so I had a little bit of trouble tightening some of the screws, but I managed. This swing is so comfortable, I currently have it on my deck, but I am seriously thinking about bringing it into my living room so I can sit in it day or night. :-) ... show more

Nicely made and sturdy, was expecting lighter duty stuff as typical. Worth the money. Cushion is 'outdoor' canvas with waterproofing coating but it holds pools of rainwater as it's quilted, best to bring it inside. Super comfy and should hold up well

Love the swing...and once we got it together it is beautiful and very comfy. But VERY difficult to put together....almost a 3 person job. And the bolts that were included were not even long enough and had to go to local hardware and get longer ones, for the price I paid for this swing you would have expected them to send the correct size bolts. ... show more
