I wanted to try out a electric screwdriver and this one is nice. It is small and compact, doesn't over do it with items in box, and even has a magnetizer / demagnetizer. It's not the strongest as it is meant for small fixes so if your screw is to tight I recommend loosening it manually with this screwdriver then using the electric part to fully remove screws. Would recommend if you use it for what it is designed to do. ... show more

I was not expecting much based on the purchase price, but didn't want to jump in to this type of tool until I determined if it really had a purpose and use in my "tool box" for computer and electronic work. The bits seem to be of good quality and bite into the fastener they are intended for very well with no slip. The driver is certainly more than adequate to loosen or tighten fasteners in computers, laptops, and electronics during service and repair. One thing I noted is that it may lack enough torque to initially break loose a screw, but a little twist of the wrist while pressing the "go" button gets it past that initial resistance. When mounting cooling fans to a computer case, there were several incidents of it not having enough torque to finish the drive. This was with an initial install when the fastener was making the original grove in the plastic of the fan to complete the function of attaching it. Battery life is excellent so far, having used it thru two desktop computers builds, and several "service" issues on other desktops. I would offer some suggestions. 1) some kind of tactile or slightly different surface on the operating buttons. Would make it easier to use while your down in a case and focused on other things. 2) make it a little thicker on the operating button area for a better grip. 3) also make the light activation button either a different tactile surface or give it a little height for ease of finding it and operation. 4) I realize that the price of this tool is very competitive in an area with many competitors, but I think that you get the driver and it bits in a cardboard box detracts from what would be a great purchase. if it came with the rigid foam / plastic holder in a reusable, closeable plastic case, it would be almost the ideal low cost, entry power driver with great value. ... show more

The flashlight is quite useful for screw holes, the motor is very ample and relieved me of my years long struggle of having to manually unscrew 6 different screws over and over again because I kept having to take apart and put back together things that I work on over and over again!

    • Impressive little tool set, with one major flaw

This makes a lot of screwing and unscrewing projects with small electronics very easy, simplifies things for quick projects. My one hit to the product is the power of the motor. Sometimes if the screw is too tight and the motor cannot move it, you will have to loosen it up manually before the motor becomes effective. The problem with this is using torque to loosen the screw against the motor does not seem good for the motor. I feel like I’m going to break it at times (I haven’t thus far). However once loose enough, the screw will come out very easily. Nice pace on the motor to unscrew. However with the above statement, there are a lot of instances where this tool is not very practical - or feels improper to use. Because of this, it is hard to recommend unless you are a frequent tinkerer and will reopen something frequently, in instance where you do not have to deal with the pressure applied to stock screws in the device you’re dismantling, which are usually rather tight. I think the motors power or lack of, is a big bummer, therefore the middle range rating. ... show more
