  • Black and Yellow Precision and Efficiency in a tool - DEWALT Drywall Screw Gun Attatchment!
Size: One Size
I recently had the pleasure of picking up this DEWALT Drywall Screw Gun attachment for my home renovation, and I can say that it has redefined my expectations for drywall tools. As someone who loves accuracy and efficiency, this screw gun delivered exceptional performance across my entire project. Work smarter not harder right?! The performance of the DEWALT Drywall Screw Gun and attachment is truly mind blowing. The depth-sensitive set it and forget it nosepiece ensure consistent and precise screw depth with each drive. The high-speed motor effortlessly sinks screws into drywall, and the trigger control allows for seamless adjustments based on the gypsum material and task at hand. The streamlined design of this tool significantly eases the drywall installation process, making it an essential choice for both professionals and DIYers like me. DEWALT's commitment to durability is evident in the construction of this Drywall Screw Gun. The tough build and high-quality materials inspire confidence in its longevity. The only minor deduction is in the plastic components, which, while durable, might not withstand as much abuse as metal alternatives. However, with proper care, this screw gun is more than capable of handling the rigors of regular use. While specifically designed for drywall installation, this screw gun proves its versatility in other applications as well. The depth control feature and variable speed trigger make it suitable for a range of materials, from softwoods to various drywall sizes. The precision it offers allows for a clean and professional looking finish every time! In terms of value for money, the DEWALT Drywall Screw Gun is an investment that pays off handsomely. The time saved and the consistent, perfect screw sinks it delivers make it a valuable addition to any toolkit. In conclusion, the DEWALT Drywall Screw Gun has exceeded my expectations and proven to be an indispensable tool for any construction or renovation project. Its high precision, efficiency, and user-friendly design make it a perfect tool for drywall jobs! ... show more

  • Just right!

Best combo to the screw gun yet. Once I found the right square bit - which DeWalt doesn’t have listed but a Ma Kit A 96908 is a perfect fit! This aligns up to 2” screws perfectly drywall or subfloor/deck. I actually used it to drive screws on a privacy fence because I was doing the job solo. (Yeah I know most people run nails, I wanted screws). But, it makes the job much easier. I used a 2x4 to set a screw line, with a single screw in my pickets, put the collated gun against it and cranked out the rest of the fence screws in a perfect straight line in moments. No hangs, no slipped screws, perfect depth. ... show more

  • first impressions very lackluster, there is a learning curve
Size: One Size
paired with dcf630b screwgun, i observed the following: - if the drill is not perfectly straight, the screw will go in sloppy... hard to keep it straight when you have to use 500 pounds of force just to push it in - there is WAY to much play/rattle in the connection from the attachment to screwgun - each time you take the attachment off, it scrapes against the screwgun's long bit. this is going to cause the hole for the screwgun to turn into an oval... this attachment relies too much on perfect angle... with a normal dimpler & impact driver if you get a crooked screw, you just apply more pressure and sink it in alittle more. With this however if you get it wrong, now you gatta go for another tool, or detach the attachment which damages it over time and then use the screwgun to sink it in more. will take it on the job later next week and update review as i get more accustomed to it. day1: it really sucks. Very inconsistent depths on the screws because you can never get the thing perfectly angled straight and you need way too much force to start a screw. The belly level sheet you put in, this thing is bang on great for. But once you get down to floor or anything above belly level its just half sunk screw after half sunk screw... you adjust the knob and it does nothing. Adjust the knob again and the screw is all the way thru the drywall... The fact that you need so much force to put a screw in means any fine tuning of depth is lost. week1: love/hate relationship with this thing. But im starting to get the hang of it. On the dewalt dcf630b, it stops if the load is too high. So if your screws are not sinking in properly, just change the battery for fresh charge. If its really thick timber, when it does stop short, DONT RELEASE THE PRESS on the attachment! Just hit the trigger again on the same screw and the screw will sink in properly! Also for angled screws, i found it faster to just put in the screws almost all the way in but not fully, then just remove the attachment and use the long bit to snug them in properly. week 2: i cannot do drywall without this. It puts screws into sheets so fast. I learned to not release fully after putting a screw in. So i can repress and re-sink the same screw. It sounds like a slow down but once you get a good technique going you'll have much less bad screws to deal with. ... show more

  • Works great!

Works as advertised with all of the durability and performance you’d expect from a DEWALT product. I love that it swivels to get tight into corners
