Update Sep 2024: I contacted the seller and they were super fast in resolving my issue with the screw driver. It turns out the battery was depleted because I was charging it with a fast charger. This unit doesn't support it. It started charging immediately with a standard USB charger. I feel pretty silly now. Anyway, it is a great kit and we'll worth the money. I definitely recommend it! This was purchased in Feb 2024 and lasted until August 2024. Will not charge, motor does not turn in either direction, just locked up. It has basically become an expensive screwdriver. Now that I have a power precision screwdriver, I don't know how I ever lived without one! This kit is sleek, just powerful enough, and complete. I've yet to encounter a type of screw that's not included here. I also love that it gives the ability to turn it by hand with the motor off - I was concerned that it might slip, but it seems to lock completely. (My only criticism is that the handle is completely smooth - it would be nice if it had some ridges to make it easier to grip when using by hand - but this is a minor flaw.) The thing that really impresses me, though, is that the torque is exactly the right amount. If the going gets too tough on a wood screw, it slows and/or stops. That might sound like a bad thing, but the fact is that it's so very easy to strip out the wood when using a power tool with such small screws, and this screwdriver "forces" you to tighten the screw down by hand so you don't have that problem. I make a lot of picture frames, and this screwdriver couldn't be more perfect for tightening down the many tiny screws on the hardware on the back of the frame. The media could not be loaded. This micro screwdriver feels great in the hand, came with all the bits that I need or could potentially want, had accessories I wasn't expecting but are extremely handy, holds a charge long enough for me to get everything I need done, then rehcharges quickly. See my fumbling, but well-meaning video. PRO-TIP: when a screw is tough to tighten or release, rather than trying to do so with just the torque of the screwdriver, tighten the last bit of the screw manually, turning the screwdriver by hand. The same old true for trying to release a really tight screw. Rather than trying to use the torque of the screwdriver to release a stuck screw, use it manually. Press the driver down use your hand and arm Force to release the screw, then use the torque of the electric motor to pull the screw out all the way. Best of luck. ... show more

I picked up one of these about a year ago because my job requires me to repair a lot of laptops. It came with all the attachments I could need to open up any of the devices that we have on hand. It also provides enough torque to unscrew the majority of them. Occasionally, I would have to break out a regular screwdriver to unscrew stuff that had been really tightened down. My only complaint is that one of the buttons (the “screw in” button) has become immobile and does not work anymore. I don’t think this is related to a degradation of the battery resulting in swelling as I assume the battery is further up the shaft of the device and the other button remains working. The built-in light has also ceased to function, but as it never produced enough light to assist on jobs it hasn’t really affected anything. I am shocked that this driver has so much torque. It makes easy work of small to medium projects. The light is very nice to have for dark spaces in servers/desktops, evening/night work, or when you can't find your flashlight and you really really need to go to the bathroom without waking the wife. :-) It has all the necessary tips for work on game consoles, desktop computers and servers, and electronics in general. The case lid has four quite powerful magnets to keep it secure yet give you quick access. It would take a significant jolt to knock the lid off. I would compare this equal to if not a little better than the iFixit models. I would definitely buy this again. ... show more

    • Decent torque and great battery life

It is a little awkward sometimes to push the button and hold onto it so it doesn't spin in your hand, but it also doesn't have so much torque that it's really an issue. I was really amazed at how well it locks when not using the motor. It has never slipped when tightening a fastener by hand. If you really want to get something tight you can hold the forward button and rotate your wrist back and forward. On the forward turn, you tighten the screw, and when you turn back, the motor is able to spin to keep the screw in place. It works almost like a ratchet. The bit selection is great and the case keeps them organized. I think I have only charged it once in the few months I've had it. ... show more

    • Decent tool set with one major flaw

I loved this set for an electric screwdriver that took 4mm bits until I had to push a little harder taking out a stripped screw. after maybe 5-10 lbs of pressure down onto the screw, the internals of the driver pushed into the body. The buttons came off and the light on the front ripped off the little wires. I was able to get the internals back to where they were supposed to be but the buttons haven't been the same as they once were and are hard to push. Its also really easy to push in the internals now with about a pound of pressure ... show more
