We kept it and slept on it for a few months, washed it a couple of times. It got less comfortable and more lumpy with time. I would have to shake and mess with each square to even out the stuff. I purchased 2 of these mattress toppers. One for a queen size extra firm mattress which was just too firm and needed a little more softness to lay on. The topper fit perfectly on the 18 inch mattress but it is not as thick and bouncy as I was expecting. While it did add a little more softness to the mattress, it did not provide the extra support I was expecting. It's more of a mattress cover than an actual pillow top mattress pad. I'll add a 2 to 3 inch queen size foam pad underneath and see if that improves the bounciness I was expecting. The other mattress topper was used on my other queen size bed as more of mattress cover. Love this topper so much. But be warned: 1) it’s SO HOT, all the time. And 2) you can see the grid through the sheets so if you style your bed with any of the bottom sheet exposed, you’ll see the square lumps.

I am disabled due to my back and after years of a career as a nurse. My problem with sleeping is comfort of a good Mattress and this on top to provide comfort due to scar tissue.
