I've been sleeping on an older memory foam pillow from a well-known retailer for many years, but this DONAMA Cervical Pillow made a significant difference. Once I understood that it could be rotated to a desired height, I picked the lower one and found myself sleeping the entire night without waking up to a cache mid-sleep or after getting up—no more tight neck and shoulders. I discovered this pillow existed when I recently saw it on Amazon and decided to purchase it. Whether flat on my back or sideways, this pillow is designed to work either way without manipulating or adjusting it to allow you to sleep. Breathing was easy either way. I know from the old pillow that if I slept on my back, my airway was constricted, and when I woke, I felt groggy, and it took several hours to fully wake up. When I wake up on my back, I feel fully rested and ready to move.     • Low back pain occurred.

The design is unique with a “hole” in the middle for your head. There are 2 “sides” for the right neck height. I ordered a king size and it fit a king pillow case with room to spare. This isn’t a pillow to lean up against in bed due to its shape. It’s sturdy and did not lose its shape. There are “wings” for your arms needed. It did support my neck and was soft. I felt it kept cool despite being a memory foam product. However, that could be due to use of a fan blowing towards my head. I’m a side sleeper. Unfortunately, I had to return as it caused incredible low back pain. I slept on this for about 3 nights. The third night my lower back was screaming in pain. I have back and neck issues, hence why I purchased this product. I went back to my old pillows and low back pain decreased. So, thinking it was a fluke, I tried this new pillow once more. Big mistake. The next morning my lower back was in agony. I’ve never had this issue before with other pillows. This may work for someone with less back and neck issues. ... show more
