    • INCREDIBLE POOL CLEANER!
I am always skeptical when purchasing things online, especially something like a pool cleaner...BUT THE DOLPHIN NAUTILUS CC PLUS ROBOTIC POOL VACUUM CLEANER WITH THE UNIVERSAL CADDY AND CLASSIC CADDY COVER WERE NOT A DISAPPOINTMENT! I read as many reviews as I could find on this pool vacuum and other more expensive Dolphins along with other brand pool cleaners. This one, even without tracking, continued to get the best reviews. Now I understand why. THIS POOL CLEANER REALLY CLEANS! I read some reviews that said it would clean the walls and bottom of the pool, but really didn't clean the tile line. When I dropped it into the water, within four or five minutes it climbed to the top of the waterline, turned and jetted across the tile line on one whole side of the pool. I continued to watch it and it cleaned the walls and the tile line so much I was worried it might not clean the bottom. BUT...once I knew it wouldn't get stuck on the drains or the pop up filters in the bottom of the pool, I went about my day and let it do its thing. It ran for two hours then stopped. When I went out to look, my pool was the cleanest it has ever been. It picked up even the finest silt, worms that had fallen to the bottom of the pool washed in from the wind and rain, and leaves (including about 3/8" to 1/2" wide by 12" to 14" long strands of palm leaves). Getting the pool cleaner, the caddy, and the cover as a package deal was a GREAT VALUE and worth every penny I paid. I've only used it once, but I am thrilled with the purchase! It was easy to put in the water, and to take out of the water. It's a little heavy from the weight of the water when removing it from the pool, but I took advice from one of the reviews and got a pole with a hook on the end (normally used to retrieve duck decoys) to bring it to the shallow end and up onto the shelf where I could reach the handle and lift it to drain and return to the caddy. This Dolphin has hugely surpassed my expectations! Wow. Cleans the bottom, sides, even steps in my 40 ft pool. I don’t need a weekly maintenance person any longer. I test the water often with AquaChek strips, do backwash, add necessary chemicals. I have a salt cell pool. The Dolphin is a quality unit. Smarter than some people I know. works good, but when I took it out of the box to use the bluetooth would not work. Called the company and they are sending another at no charge but back ordered for 1 month. This thing is AWESOME! It does a great job at cleaning the pool. The only thing I would suggest is don’t waste your money on the WiFi version. We love this vacuum! We are new to having a pool and this is our first vacuum ever purchased. Our pool is inground, concrete,16x32ft, and about 9ft at its deepest. I wasn't sure if what we got would be enough, but it does the job just fine! I haven't seen it get stuck/tangled at all, goes up the walls, and goes up to only one of the steps, but I wasn't expecting it to get all of them as they are set up kind of weird. We live in a humid, heavily wooded area near the lake in central Texas and algae loves it here. :( This vacuum has helped us keep it at bay so much. Before we had it, we were paying for someone for upkeep and haven't had to call anyone since. I'm still working out the chemistry part of it all, but it seems much more doable now that we have this vacuum. Plugs in to an outlet easy, one power button for off/on, lightweight, and picks up all the little things that may go unseen. My only issue is that our local pool store (Leslies) doesn't work on Dolphin vacuums, so I am worried if something were to go wrong mechanically. We will cross that bridge when we get to it. Been about a month or so since we've got it and no problems yet. Other than that, I have nothing, but good things to say about it! ... show more

So let me start by saying I waited entirely too long to get one of these. I have a gunite pool that is free-form and a GSD that lives in it. I’ve spent countless hours cleaning the dirt and grime out of this pool for the past 4 years and very little time actually enjoying it. This machine, which has replaced me as resident “Pool B…ch”, does an amazing job considering the weird shape of the pool and the sheer quantity of dirt the dog puts in it. Does it miss some spots? Yes, but I simply circumvent by brushing the few corners and elevated spaces. Not remotely as time consuming as before and just takes me minutes instead of wasting an afternoon. The manual control is a bit delayed, making it a little difficult to steer but again, just brush the problem areas run an extended cycle and BAM, done. Would I have liked the cordless, sure, who wouldn’t but let’s be honest, my family needs to eat too. At the end of the day, this is by far a vast improvement over the manual vacuuming I was having to do every other day and subsequent refilling of the pool for lost volume. Thank you! Thank you!
