I was afraid when we emptied it from the box, it would be difficult to put together and take a long time, but it was pretty easy and barely took a hour. Seems to be very durable and good materials. Of course this is not made of native wood panels. It is a very strong particle board, but it actually has the heft and look of quality wood. The bars are much stronger than that of a standard wire crate. They also have a powder coat that looks great. I can see some dogs breaking it but if they are ok in a wire crate then this is a big step up. It has 2 easy to open doors and during assembly you can choose which side you want the side door. Assembly was very easy, there is only one bolt size which is great. Once assembled it is heavy and rock solid with no creaking or flexing. I am very impressed with this. I payed under 100 for each of the 2 I bought. They're heavy duty and also look nice on my patio. My dogs are medium size and they have room in these. I put a hasp thing in the door because one has sort of a faulty latch that the dog can bust out of but it's no big deal the hasp does the trick. Recently adopted a stray and I ordered the large size with no idea how big this dog will get but I have to say that the large is huge. So if you do have a larger breed this will definitely give them plenty of room. It was pretty simple to put together and I liked that 2 of the panels are interchangeable so that you can choose the side that the door is on depending on where in your home you would like to sit it. The only thing I was a bit disappointed about is that it claims to have a thick pad to go in the bottom but it isn't even close to being thick...more like a soft fuzzy pillow case with grippy sock bottom. That wasn't a huge issue as I just threw a small blanket in there and our pup is in love. Overall very much worth the money! ... show more

I ordered 2 and opened the best looking box. Both boxes were damaged. The crate is not the color shown. My daughter ordered the same crate and it’s beautiful and the color matches my furniture. So, I ordered 2. I got a dull brown color that looks better in the pics than it is in person and does not match my new furniture. If you don’t care what color you get and it doesn’t come damaged, then it should be ok. I would not cram a 70lb dog in this crate! I gave the seller a chance to fix it. They wanted my daughter’s account info! Nope! I will be returning them instead. ... show more

The crate is beautiful and matches my decor. It is expansive enough to accommodate the needs of my dog. I adopted my dog, Sophie from the shelter and she has some triggers so I wasn’t sure how she would respond but she walked right in and laid down.

Crate was easy to assemble for one person. Comfortable for my dog. I bought this size because it large and comfortable for my Papillion, that likes to sleep stretched out. It would be comfy enough for two dogs his size. The reason I gave this product 3 stars is because the latch is weak and the dog will let himself out, which has only happened once, but I needed him to be in the crate while I was away.
