    • Sturdy book safe, love that you can set your own code.
I got this for my 8 yr. old. I was looking for an upgrade from the piggy bank. Its great for paper money or other precious items you want to keep secure from your siblings. The inner door is heavy sturdy metal. It was easy to set the code the first time with the included directions. I suggest only setting it once because when I tried to change it to a different code and I could not do it and the lock would no longer work. The customer service was amazing and they sent me a replacement book safe right away. So even though the directions say that you can set a new three digit number code after the initial selection, I don't recommend it. Just pick one. It looks like a regular book when on a bookshelf with other books around it. Opening the book reveals a steel liner with a combination lock. You set the combination to 3 digits of your choice. They can be changed anytime if required. (Only when safe is open) The interior of the safe is large enough to hold a significant amount of cash or jewelry. Nowhere in the material that came with it does it mention fireproof or waterproof, so I'm sure it's not either. But it's a great stash place to keep things secure.     • Excellent diversion, but...
I placed some valuables and a small fireproof bag in this decent sized storage space. I am storing this alongside other photo album-like books, so it blends in rather well. From a visual distance, it's all good. If someone were to pick this up to look at it for a second or two, they'd immediately know it wasn't a photo album. It would be exceptionally easy to break into using a screwdriver, hammer, knife, or just sheer anger. Absent those things though, the lock combo - while easy to set your own code - does make an obvious sound and tactile event when scrolling through the numbers. This was purchased to hide and keep snacks away from my coworkers. While it does not look real upon inspection, it does get glanced over when the scavengers are going through the cabinets. Holds plenty of items, and has held up well so far.

    • Good for Hiding Random Items, But Not for Expensive Things
I bought the Ohuhu Extra Large Diversion Secret Safe about two years ago, and it’s decent for storing non-expensive stuff like wires or random items. What’s Good: Great for hiding inexpensive items where you don't need top-tier security. It’s large enough to store a variety of small things. Works as a diversion safe—it looks like a regular book, so it's discreet. The Issue: Not secure enough for valuables—definitely wouldn’t trust it with money or jewelry. I forgot the combination after a while, but if you listen closely, you can hear a click when you hit the right number. Final Verdict: Okay for Random Items It works for what it is—just don’t store valuables in it. If you need something cheap for random stuff, it gets the job done, but for anything valuable, I’d recommend something more secure. ⭐ 3/5 Stars – Good for Small Items, Not for Valuables ⭐ ... show more

    • ITS MASSIVE!
WOW!! This book is THICK and DEEP! I ordered another book safe before I decided to get this one instead. The other one didn’t have much room and kept getting stuck where the handle wouldn’t turn and would get stuck on whatever money or whatever I had on the bottom. It was so annoying. I decided on this one because it was deep and I knew it would hold what I needed without getting stuck. Its ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. Looks just like a thick book and no one would guess it was a book safe unless they decided to try and read it. Looks like a boring book so I doubt anyone would want to read it anyway.
