I have been using them for about 2 months now (without changing the batteries yet) . The product is exactly as described. It’s not too large or too small. It can be hung, or set like a picture frame (as seen in attached pictures). There are 2 small magnets embedded in the back, but use of that feature would not work in our refrigerator due to the plastic walls. The thermometer on the left is in the freezer and on the right in the refrigerator. The faded display on the left is not due to the thermometer but by moisture condensing on its face while I had the left side (freezer) door open for an extended time to take a picture. Both thermometers displayed the exact same temperature when I had them side-by-side in the refrigerator or freezer (read after 30 min to allow compartment temperature to stabilize). Revision 9/7/24: The thermometer that has been in the freezer since receipt now it keeps switching from Fahrenheit to Centigrade, and the display is so faded to be almost invisible. The approximate freezer temperature is -6F based on a metal dial unit. ... show more

I've been struggling with poor performance of the Dometic fridge in my travel trailer. I bought these to place in the fridge and freezer area to monitor temps and make sure my food stays within a healthy range on our trips. I recently purchased the Fahzon digital thermometer 2 pack for my refrigerators. I wanted to verify the temperatures the refrigerators were seeing. The digital thermometers are very accurate and easy to read with their large LCD screen. I used the supplied hooks to attach them to a fridge shelf but they also have a magnetic back if you like.
