The brush works well, but when I first used it my face was scraped very uncomfortably by what I found was a single very stiff and sharp bristle that was much thicker that the rest of the bristles. I was able to clip the offending bristle out, and it felt like plastic to me. I am sure the brush bristles are mostly made of boar hair, but you might want to check for any thick bristles prior to vigorously brushing your face with it. ... show more
