I have used many pressure washers, both electric and gas power. However, I have never used a pressure washer that shuts off automatically when you stop spraying. The model does. If this is common for this model, I would stay away from this pressure washer since it needs to be restarted each time you stop spraying to make and adjustment or switch spray nozzeles. Which bring me to the next issue. This model is hard to start cold, turned on the choke and after 6-12 pulls I had to turn off the choke and pull start a few more times and then turn the choke back on and hope that it would start. Now, since it shuts down when I release the handle, I have to do the same to restart. Activate the choke and make one pull and then turn the choke off and hope it will start. On the plus site easy to assemble. The instruction manual is very good (small print so you may need readers). Follow-up 11/29/2023. Reported issue with Amazon and was sent a replacement pressure washer at no charge. The replacement works perfect. The actual problem was the plastic tube that came out of the gas tank was broken not allowing the pressure washer to get the fuel. I want to thank the amazon support folks for an excellent response to the issue and even a greater response to the solution. Thank you Amazon. This pressure washer is a beast! I traded up from an older competitor model that just a few days ago suffered a catastrophic pump failure. (Keeping the Honda engine but the rest is headed to the dump.) I searched Amazon and other sites for highly recommended pressure washers and this DeWalt model looked very promising. Ease of assembly is great. Directions are logical and clear. The unit is very easy to maneuver, unlike the old washer I had. The hose hookups are right were they should be instead of under the rear of the unit, requiring gymnastic and barked knuckles to attach the hose. The engine and pump are very powerful. This medium priced unit just set the bar very high for the rest of the competition. Very pleased with the unit. Would buy again. ... show more

It ran great on the first tank of gas, but could never get it to start again after I refilled the gas tank. Called truck support and they stated the it had a caper lock and I needed to wait 90 minutes to let it clear and that it would restart. Still it would not restart, called tech support again they said to try again the next day. Still would not restart this time tech support said to take it into the service department to get it repaired. It been going two weeks and no word from the service department. If I had it to do over again I would have not purchased this presser washer. ... show more

It turns on immediately, I like it because you don't have to spend hours pulling the cord and begging to be able to work with it. I use it to clean my house and I am very satisfied with the power and results. Dewalt is quality at a reasonable price, I highly recommend this machine.

I bought this and it came with some dents and bent handle, but nothing too crazy. The part that sucked was it was missing the spray wand. Annoyed, I reached out to Amazon support to see if I could get one sent to me. Amazon held true to their customers and sent me a new unit. The second attempt. The second unit they sent me was better, with less visible dents and no apparent bends. The issue is, it was missing a pin (that holds the wheel to the unit) and it didn’t come with oil (the first unit did). After getting the second unit, I’m now thinking the first unit wasn’t fully new, as they were at different levels of assembled. Frustrating, but Amazon support made it right with a partial refund. The actual performance of the pressure washing is decent. It seems to struggle a little bit keeping pressure when I just hold the nozzle open in use. I have to only have it in use for 5-10 seconds at a time and give it a break to let it build pressure. I was looking through the owners manual to see if there was anything obvious that would be wrong, but none of them applied to the situation. I would recommend this pressure washer, but just a warning that you may have some issues getting a unit that isn’t damaged in shipping or missing some parts. ... show more

When I first started it up, it acted like it didn’t wanna run. I followed the instructions. It was like it wasn’t pressurizing the water at all. So I shut everything down. Double checked everything and started it back up. It ran top-notch. This is definitely a very nice pressure washer. Be aware it does suck the soap out of the bottle really fast. ... show more

We love this pressure washer. It cranks super easy and has great pressure. The only thing I don’t like is the hose storage. It is definitely a design fault. It is difficult to wind the hose back on and then keep it on.
