Not a lot of impact force, but with a fresh bit does well. Make sure to clean the hole occasionally if drilling over 2"

Haven't needed to use it for a larger diameter hole, but has killed it for the 3/4 size and smaller holes I've needed to make so far. Will probably need a stronger rotary hammer drill for core bits but I'd give it a try first.

I have an old corded hammer drill that's about 6 years old, it has done the job well but if there's no power on the site, I can't use the drill. I came upon this dewalt cordless hammer and I think it's the "best thing since sliced bread"lol, Surprisingly it feels like it has more power than my corded drill, it's battery powered so no need to worry about power, it's fast, plus it has a shock absorber to cut back on the shaking in your hands.
