My first thought was " This is very heavy" But after building it it is very easy to handle It is very stable no shake, wobble or rattling, very easy to load with ramp I use walk assist on my Fat tire E-Bike. 4 straps and one around front wheel bike is not moving This is a nice carrier and I am sure it would handle 300 lbs. I purchased this to haul my Ebike around (it weight close to 90 lbs). This carrier does the job perfectly. It has lots of flexibility as far as spacing to accommodate various motorcycles or bikes. The price is worth every cent. The only gripe I have is a few of the areas that are hollow like the ends of the ramp have started to rust. I plan on hitting them with some protectant paint so that should eliminate that problem. Once my bike is secured I have all the confidence in the world it will travel hundreds of miles without worry. ... show more

Powder coating was so thick that it wouldn’t go into the receiver of my hitch. I had to go out and buy some files to grind off around the area that goes into the receiver. Didn’t expect that any Engineer would’ve seen the air right off the bat. Other than that looks like it might be solid enough for the long-haul. ... show more

This is a very heavy unit. It does seem very well built but it took a bit to put it together by myself. Overall it does carry my 70 lb electric bike pretty well.

Great item. Suggestion for improvement is longer bolts (4) that hold the two sides onto the main beam. I replaced mine so that tire would not scrape ends of the bolts when rolling over top. Might not matter but I didn't like the idea of bolt ends scraping edge of tire when rolling on or off rack. Importance depends on width of your tire. Also, why not include straps? ... show more

    • Inconclusive directions for e-bikes
I have a RAD E-bike,, and I am not sure how to load it on this tack. Customer service could not confirm what the “right way” was to load the bike. They left it up to me, the customer. This is a heavy, sturdy rack, but the instruction manual and the video contradict each other, and customer service was unable to explain the discrepancy. The bike is expensive, and I would like to be sure that it is properly loaded, but I can’t find out how to be sure of that from the manufacturer. . ... show more
