This is a nice product that tidied up my night stand. Between the wireless charging and the included USB-C port, this light is wonderfully functional and does its job well. Sound quality is good enough for an alarm, the Wi-Fi connection re-establishes itself after a power outage, and overall the product works really well. Customer service is also amazing, over a year after I bought the light I had an issue pop up and the customer service team went out of their way to make everything right. It is nice to see a company that stands behind their product. All that said I'd like to see a few improvements: 1. It'd be great if I could turn off the sound when changing light modes, it seems only newer models have this and it is kind of annoying that my bed lamp makes a noise when being turned off 2. It'd be great if I could select what modes are toggled between and in what order, some of the modes I just don't care about and it'd be nice if those modes could be disabled ... show more

    • Get the Smart Version with the App - makes a huge difference!
I balked at the price of the brand-name version of this clock, and decided to try out this option, which is the "Smart Sunrise Alarm Clock, Wake Up Light Alarm Clocks" of the choices offered above. After reading complaints for both this and the brand version, it was pretty clear that the complexity of setting multiple alarms with multiple light and sound settings was a real pain for everyone, and I thought the app would help - I was right! The phone control (via Smart Life app) makes a huge difference in navigating the features successfully and without frustration, especially since the written instructions are not sufficient. Sometimes it gets stuck on the snooze setting, but closing and reopening the app fixes it. As for the clock's function, it has a great, strong light, and while the sound quality isn't at a level that I'd want to listen to it for a long period, it's still pleasant to wake up to. Overall, I'm really pleased with this this sunrise clock, and it is making a difference in waking up in the morning. ... show more

    • I wake up a little more happier now!
Let me start off by saying that I really like waking up to this as opposed to my old alarm clock which was loud and annoying. I like that with this alarm you can change the volume and the alarm tone to say ... birds chirping or piano for example (there are more sounds but those are the two that I use most often). I use the app that is very easy to download, easy to setup, and it is very easy to use. I don't really use the buttons on the back. There are too many buttons and it confuses me. But they are labelled nicely. I prefer to just use the app. I really like how the light comes on first and slowly gets brighter. I also like that the sounds are more of a gentler type of sound rather than just LOUD beeping that is annoying. But if that is what gets you up, this has that sound as well. I like that you can change the volume. It has a radio as well. The light has different colors that you can choose from too and you can change the brightness in the app. To be honest with you this alarm has many features that I don't even know how to use yet. I am still learning myself how to use it. I know that it has only failed to go off once. I don't know if it was me or it that caused that to happen. It usually does a pretty good job of getting me up. It has multiple day settings too, if for example you sleep in on the weekends, you can set a separate alarm for those days and set your usual everyday alarm at a different wake up time. Also the legs of the alarm accidently come off very easily. It comes with two sets of legs, I guess in case one set gets damaged or lost. Overall, I think this is a good alarm.     • Great Features, But It Only Worked for 6 Months...
We bought this because we needed a clock that allowed for different alarms for different days of the week. This looked perfect. It was controlled via an app that made it easy to setup. It worked great... for 6 months. Then weird things started happening. The sunrise light would start coming on in the middle of the night. On occasion the alarms wouldn't go off. If you checked them in the app they be set to non-existent times - like 60:59 on Mondays and Wednesday. Then the stop alarm button stopped working. You'd press it, the sound would start to fade and then just come back. It took 3 presses of the button to stop the alarm. We finally replaced it with an Echo Dot w/ clock. ... show more
