Im really happy with my purchase. It is very well made and easy to use. Its enclosed in a beautiful black wood cabinet that is very solid and heavy. The speakers are large and give a very clean powerful sound. It plays all cds- even the ones that were made on a CD recorder. The cd and bluetooth and radio play very well. It has plenty of power and can play as loud as you want and can be heard all over the house. I have mine in the kitchen and it is a perfect pair for Amazon Music for crystal clear streaming of my favorite songs. i would highly recommend this unit ... show more

Doesn't have alot of bass, I has a serious stereo for that. but this is clear and midrange oriented. Gives you just enough to enjoy your music. I like the usb, Bluetooth, cd, capability. If you're looking for a nice tabletop player at this price you won't be disappointed. I am not. :-)

This is a very nice unit, great sound, not complicated to use, and I love the remote. We are enjoying it very much. I did have a question about the standby display not turning off and I emailed the manufacturer who got back to me instantly and told me that was not an issue and simply dim the display.     • Does not play CDs all the way through
Really wanted to like this little stereo. I was looking for a small CD player for my bedroom, and this seemed perfect. Compact size, good sound, seemed to be well constructed. Unfortunately, when I tried listening to CDs, I noticed that the unit would randomly stop in the middle of a track and turn itself off. I would turn it back on, and it would pick up at whatever random point in the CD it stopped at. Always in the middle of a song. I hoped this was a fluke, but it did this every single time, with multiple CDs. I exchanged the original unit I bought for an identical one, hoping I just got a "bad one" the first time. No such luck. The replacement unit did the same thing. It would not play a CD all the way through. I will be returning this and getting something else. ... show more

I like everything about this compact unit. Big sound for small price. My Bose sound system CD player gave out so I replaced it with the Oakcastle unit and am amazed with it's performance. The remote even had batteries included. Set up is a breeze with the manual and one can sign up for a free 3 year extended warranty. Radio has 30 presets, good reception and there's also Bluetooth connectivity. What's not to love about this product? I highly recommend this Oakcastle product. ... show more

Like: Quality, look, sound and feel. Great looking for the kitchen or a small-medium sized room. I own a theater system currently built on Klipsch Atmos speakers/Onkyo nr7100 so sound quality has been in our household for decades. To Oakcastle and customers: The unit is OK, but, every time the unit is turned on out of standby the bass and treble have been reset to 0. To get tone quality set, you have to adjust the treble and bass again and again and again every time it's turned back on. It does NOT hold those settings. I think it's a flaw in the firmware. This unit is a steal at this price! Great sound and ease of use and it looks nice too. Good quality and pretty loud speakers also. It even has a pull out antenna for all those radio lovers out there. This unit does it all, CD player, Bluetooth, radio and 3mm aux in. Would highly recommend!
