This unit is a steal at this price! Great sound and ease of use and it looks nice too. Good quality and pretty loud speakers also. It even has a pull out antenna for all those radio lovers out there. This unit does it all, CD player, Bluetooth, radio and 3mm aux in. Would highly recommend!

Everything is excellent, I really don’t think you could improve very much on this HiFi500 it sounds very nice for the size. Very easy to set up. The CD player works flawlessly. The FM has very good reception ( without using the antenna) The Bluetooth is my favorite, I have my music stored on my cellphone and I can play it through the system. I can’t find nothing wrong with it yet, I will see how long it will last by playing it everyday. Thanks for a nice stereo system. ... show more

    • Does not play CDs all the way through
Really wanted to like this little stereo. I was looking for a small CD player for my bedroom, and this seemed perfect. Compact size, good sound, seemed to be well constructed. Unfortunately, when I tried listening to CDs, I noticed that the unit would randomly stop in the middle of a track and turn itself off. I would turn it back on, and it would pick up at whatever random point in the CD it stopped at. Always in the middle of a song. I hoped this was a fluke, but it did this every single time, with multiple CDs. I exchanged the original unit I bought for an identical one, hoping I just got a "bad one" the first time. No such luck. The replacement unit did the same thing. It would not play a CD all the way through. I will be returning this and getting something else. ... show more

Great sound playing cd’s. The only trouble I’m having is where my placement of stereo system is under an entertainment shelf and can’t put up the antenna so I can’t get radio reception. Otherwise great system for the money.

Im really happy with my purchase. It is very well made and easy to use. Its enclosed in a beautiful black wood cabinet that is very solid and heavy. The speakers are large and give a very clean powerful sound. It plays all cds- even the ones that were made on a CD recorder. The cd and bluetooth and radio play very well. It has plenty of power and can play as loud as you want and can be heard all over the house. I have mine in the kitchen and it is a perfect pair for Amazon Music for crystal clear streaming of my favorite songs. i would highly recommend this unit ... show more

Good quality sound for the size. A little low on the bass side but for what I need it , more than adequate. Looks nice and fits my decor. Size is fairly small which is what I needed. The price is appropriate. Delivery was quick. Would recommend.

I like everything about this compact unit. Big sound for small price. My Bose sound system CD player gave out so I replaced it with the Oakcastle unit and am amazed with it's performance. The remote even had batteries included. Set up is a breeze with the manual and one can sign up for a free 3 year extended warranty. Radio has 30 presets, good reception and there's also Bluetooth connectivity. What's not to love about this product? I highly recommend this Oakcastle product. ... show more

I don't know how people are saying ease of use or setup because I'm not finding that at all! It looks good, sounds good, but constantly having to play with the buttons, the presets etc I'm just not having an easy go of it I'm going right along with the manual too! I just think it could be much simpler to use unless I got a lemon?? ... show more
