Used it for 5 minutes and the sound completely stopped working on me. The manufacturer wouldn’t help me and Amazon had to partially refund me. I did the partial refund so I could open it and see the issue. This cheap crap audio chip completely fried and melted. Useless junk. Speakers are nice but stereo is just trash. Style: Elite Stereo shelf System with CD and DVD
By no circumstance should anyone waste money one of the Piles. I bought one for my garage in March and the LCD quit working within a week or so. Amazon sent a replacement that arrived in late April and now 3 months later is it basically a brick once ambient temperatures go above 80 degrees where constant pop noises come out of the speakers. This one occasionally looses its LCD as well and just about everyday the equalizer needs reset because it moves to some preset whenever it wants. The sound out of both units wasn't that great and always was too muffled with bass regardless where you set the EQ. I've reached out to Pyle USA where they asked for invoices and a description of the issue, which I provided. Over 12 days later still no reply from Pyle. Looking at the reviews, I am not the only one that has had these issues. Guess I'll chalk up the loss and order a Toshiba TY-ASW8000 instead. Don't waste your money on this Pyle of .... ... show more

When I seen 800 watts I thought the radio would be loud like my old Sony radio not at all the sound is horrible when I turn the volume to its highest level it still sound low all you can really hear is the bass with a muff sound and the bass is not that loud either my TV can get louder then that. When I got the radio and seen how it was I was gonna take it back the same day but then I thought I do like the Bluetooth and I didn't spend that much so maybe I'll keep it the radio lasted for 3 days then burnt out on me. All the bad reviews you see about this radio believe it all the good reviews are people who probably didn't have the radios like they were back in the day with that good sound and will work for over 10 years I can't find those anywhere now. when I read the reviews on most of the radios at Amazon everybody says that the sound is cheap why is that? Why are the making them sound so low nowadays? I heard sound and bass connects to the sprite could that be why? I don't know but it's definitely something going on ... show more

I bought this unit in March 2023 and thought with a dual Amplifier for the Speakers and Subwoofer it would sound great...it is loud and real bassy but the Pyle should have designed this better. It would have been nice to have a readout on the LCD so you know which equalization you using instead of guessing by how it sounds....and the volume? it is all over the place....you can set it low and each mode the default volume is around 9 and for FM and CD's it is way too loud. on Fm can only play it with the volume at 6 and even with that too much bass and for CD's can only play the volume at max of 3 because anything higher it is too loud. I have contacted Pyle USA but there only response is who did I buy it from, when, a copy of the Invoice, and videos which Email won't allow me to send. Pyle USA should have thought this out better. Since I can't return this have to make the best of a bad situation. ... show more
