This is a very fast car. Battery lasts about 20min or so at full charge running off and on 70-100%. I do like that it has that option. The car flips easily because of the speed and power but miraculously ends up on its tires most of the time. The body is very durable and has taken some hits. The body is a bit flimsy considering the impact and the speed. I am disappointed that the motor burned out recently and the tires started coming apart. My 7 year old lived it while it ran. The company is super responsive when you message them, but finding replacement parts is a bit difficult. As a boy mom I know nothing about RC cars so I always ended up overpaying for fancy ones. We ordered this truck because there was a storm in Florida and we were able to take it on the dunes to the beach. It is by far the fastest most durable RC car we’ve ever had. I bought the jetwood version of this car first, that's the purple one in the pics. They are the same chassis engine and the parts are interchangeable. Even though there basically the same this car is more durable I'm some ways because it has thicker tires and a higher ride hight so in my case don't smash the lip of the driveway with the bumper, the body on these trucks covers the shock mounts so when it flips the shocks don't break as easy. I was skeptical about the front plastic bumper but I have crashed it a few times expecting it to be destroyed but it was still ok. I have the metal jetwood bumper to use on this for when the plastic one breaks but it doesn't come with a light. I speed tested with my phone it goes 28mph with the stock battery and it goes 41mph with a 3s. Don't start out with 3s until you can control the car good or you will crash and most likely break something. I also have a hosim x07 and this is like a smaller version of it except more durable in my opinion. Zee 2s 2200mah 50c battery packs fit perfect in this and really wake the car up and there only $36 I fit urgenex 3s 2400mah 50c packs with just a little modification of the plastic battery strap, I had to clip off a tiny bit of plastic so it fit like the factory battery and I also use the 2s 2600mah batterys the xo7 cake with i just took the batterys out of the plastic hard case and they fit perfect no modifications required and they really wake the car up also. I didn't bash this one like I did with the jet wood version but I have jumped, crashed, cartwheeled and haven't broke nothing except a bolt in the tie rod but it comes down to luck with these breaking or not in crashes. Sometimes they break sometimes they don't. But for $111 on sale it was definitely worth it. I put all the metal control arms on the jetwood version and they are not made good quality and can't set steering trim or get car to go stright. I ordered a different brand and am going to try them out but I think I'll stick with the plastic pieces for this car since nothing broken yet and it goes straight still after all it's been through already. Definitely worth the money even when not on sale ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I love this little truck! It is quick and pretty durable. I did end up replacing a lot of the suspension with the aluminum upgrades due to breaking steering parts frequently. This was totally my fault though! When you hit things at full speed, stuff is going to break...lol! I like the speed options also. Setting the speed controller to insane mode makes the truck almost too fast to control, but very fun. I usually run the speed controller at normal and the radio control at 100. I would recommend getting upgraded batteries and a good charger that balances the batteries. They stock batteries only run about 5 to 7 minutes and the stock charger takes forever and a day to charge. Not complaining, just a heads up if you plan on driving it a lot. ... show more

I got this as a suggestion for a great fast RC truck. It was good out of the box , but the more I played with it the more trouble I seem to be having. First it loses signal while driving and then I can't control so it crashes. The next issue I found was that the steering completely stops so I thought the battery was low. Well it continues to speed forward or backwards but no steering. I switched with a new battery and had the same scenario until I shut everything off for a few minutes. Then it seemed to be working normal again. All in all a great buy at this price point. Maybe the issues will work themselves out but I haven't ever had the same mishaps in all my other 10 rcs that I own. Might have to write to the company for more support. Also very drifty when running fast. Seems to drift to the left very hard. Tried adjusting steering but no change. ... show more

I recently purchased this RC car for my boyfriend and I guess our dog becuase he loves to chase it. The children and my boyfriend who is 33 also approves. It's fast, which is great, and it handles well on all terrains. It comes with two batteries so you can run it while the other charges, which is great. My dog can barely keep up with it. I would recommend getting the plastic parts replacecd with metal parts, which would cost around another $100. Also, get extra front lights, because on the first drive my boyfriend ran it into a brick wall and the light snapped off. Came with extra pieces to keep body on. ... show more
