    • As apricots go, they're okay
I always have dried fruit in the house. These are pretty good - they are a little dense and "dry", but within the normal range of both for dried apricots. Some brands you get are very moist and soft, you can fold and squish them between your fingers without issue, these are a little firmer than that. There's significant variety in the bag with respect to body. In size these are typical, about 1" in diameter and maybe 1/4" thick. In terms of flavor; mildly sweet - no added sugar is always a bonus - that that characteristic slight bitterness you get with dried apricots in general. The only ones that don't have that are the half-dried apricots from nuts.com, at least in my experience, these are no better nor worse than average. In any case, I'm often reaching for these and have at least five in a sitting. These are good to cap off a breakfast or serve as a quick late-night snack. Good value for your money, a 5lb bag should last you a good three or four weeks if it's just a couple of you. They go at a steady pace in my household, maybe about the same rate as dried prunes. Would recommend, though not specifically over any other brand of dried apricot. If you haven't tried nuts.com's half-dried apricots, you should, they're something interesting. Otherwise, these should be a safe option for anyone who already likes dried fruit of this type. ... show more

I have a problem with bats. I put four of these things around the basement in different placements. I have not seen bat or mouse droppings anywhere since i've done it three months ago.

I ordered this a while ago and have used two packages where I have seen rodents. since I have gotten the product and used it I have not seen evidence of more rodents so I guess it is working and I am happy with the product. I havent seen evidence either that they have eaten much of the product so I guess I will ave to wait a bit to see if the mice come back!! ... show more

I’m currently using these in my basement in a wardrobe where I am storing coats. The scent was incredibly strong at first then almost disappears. I hope it lasts for the 3 months.
