We had gotten a mattress for free but it was a bit too firm for my husband and my liking. Adding this on was just what it needed. It’s still a firm mattress, don’t expect this to work miracles, but the topper is nice and thick and helps you relax into the bed more. We’ve both slept so much better with it on since we got it! It came nicely packaged. I fluffed it up for a few minutes in the dryer (although it was so thick it barely fit!) and it’s on the mattress nice and snug. We haven’t had any issues with it moving or shifting under the sheets. I can’t speak to its longevity since we just got it but I’m very happy with it right now! The only potential “problem” that’s not much of a problem but I feel worth mentioning, is that depending on how thick your mattress is normal fitted sheets may not fit once you add this. We have a set of extra deep pocket sheets and they fit with room to spare but our normal sets barely make it over. In reality a good problem because that means it is nice and fluffy but just be aware you may have that issue. I'll just be making sure to buy the deep pocket sheets for our next set. ... show more

I purchased this product after I purchased my new mattress. My new mattress was a little too firm and I needed something to soften it up a bit. I was skeptical after reading a lot of reviews with plumping up and being put in the dryer and turning yellow. I can say NONE OF THAT OCCURED WITH ME. I didn't even put it in the dryer. It was nice and plump after taking it out of the bag and letting it lay on my bed for about an hour before securing it. This was one the best purchases I made in December. So I'll start off by saying that I love the loft of the topper. Very comfortable. I am a bit concerned with how thin the material is though. My last topper lasted 10 years. I believe it lasted so long because it came with a removable, zippered cover that could be washed easily. This one does not. I gave it 4 stars because it arrived with a tear or cut in the side panel by the tags with stuffing hanging out. I contacted the company asap by email but they never reached back out to me. I am disappointed. I fear the tear will only get larger and of course I cannot wash it as it will fall apart with a hole in it. The company needs to stand behind there products! ... show more

It helped a lot with my back and making my bed so comfortable. I look forward to laying down, it such a treat. It feel like a cloud and like a warm hug. I was really hoping this would be a good fix for my sleep issues. My husband and I went on vacation and slept on a very plush bed for a few nights. We decided that we needed something like that at home. We purchased our current mattress about 5 years ago and since it was very expensive we didn't want to go mattress shopping again. So I decided to go online to try to find something that would fit our needs. I stumbled across this mattress topper and since it has so many great reviews I decided to give it a go. When it arrived I laundered it and set it up on our bed. We were excited about how plush it was. We thought this would be it! Every day my husband would wake up in a worse mood. Well dang, that's not a good sign. I on the other hand felt like I got absolutely no sleep despite sleeping for 7+ hours. I told myself I just needed to get to bed earlier and things would be fine. They were not fine. By Friday his back pain worsened and I felt sleepier than ever. We decided that it was this topper. We took it off and went out an purchased an adjustable bed frame. That solved all our issues. But wait, there's more! I asked my sister if she wanted this topper since she also has a king sized bed. She took it home and her first impressions were great! So soft and comfy. I was thrilled that my ninty dollar purchase was going to be used! But she experienced the same issues as we did, except hers were more severe. Her back pain was astronomical and she thought it was because she stopped going to the gym and changed her eating habits. I suggested she take the topper off to see if that would solve her problems and it did. Even her dog refused to lay on it. I'm not letting this topper go to waste, though. I'm going to repurpose it into cat beds. Very expensive cat beds. The reason I gave it 3 stars and not 1 or 2 is because it is well made. This topper arrived yesterday and I slept very well last night. It is thick and very comfortable. It stays in place with the straps that fit around the mattress corners. I will review again if anything changes, but for now it's the best topper I've ever had and it actually works to keep my joints from aching. ... show more
