If you're a hot sleeper this topper is not for you, this topper gets hot during the night, doesn't claim to have a cooling effect and it's not cool during the night, This topper doesn't claim to be extra thick and it is not, it puffs up to about 1 inch I know it doesn't sound like much but if you already have a comfortable bed and a gel pad this will makes a difference. I put it on air dry for 90 min, then warm air delicates for 70 min and it fluffed up nicely to about 1 Inch. It fits great, and makes my bed feel more comfortable than it already was, if you have an uncomfortable mattress idk if this would make a difference. Super easy to wash and fluffs up nicely. I am happy because it makes my bed feel nice and cozier. I will have to order cooling sheets for next summer because it makes my bed super hot and I'm not a hot sleeper. I googled “how do hotels make their beds so comfortable” and I came up with this topper. It’s thick, comfortable and gives you a little bit of “sleeping on a cloud” feeling. Overall, this can make your mediocre bed feel a little more luxurious. I paired this with a 3 inch foam topper on a firm mattress and it saved me from having to spend a lot of money on a new mattress.
