This scope has now been mounted and I have done a basic zero using a laser . Adjustments worked well and I will take this lens to the range in the next few days. The glass is very clear with good clarity and contrast. I like the locking adjustment turrets and this scope seems to be a very good purchase especially at it's price point. The only negative that I have found is the front lens cap does not want to stay closed. This scope should meet my current needs without the high cost of a premium lens. I grew up shooting with iron sights but at my age, the eyes are not what they used to be. After reading a number of positive reviews this was the scope I selected.     • It's my first scope, and I am extremely pleased...
Being new to longer-range shooting, I wanted to try it and not necessarily spend a small fortune on an optic. The EagleFeather 4-16X50 AO Rifle Scope was a PERFECT fit! While being budget-friendly, it is a quality product. The scope feels solid; the windage and elevation dials distinctly click while adjusting (with embarrassment, it took me a while to understand that the dials lock/unlock by pushing them in or pulling them out). Dahh!!! That brings me to the instructions -- while most of the assembly is quite intuitive, I would have appreciated a little more detail (e.g., locking the elevation/windage dials)... Being an elder citizen, I was so impressed with the 16x magnification! WOW - seeing those "little" targets down range was easy. The rounds I send down-range are grouped much tighter than I expected by using this scope. ... show more

Seriously, this scope is an incredible value for the money, especially when compared to the Big Name optic company offerings. I do a lot of long distance shooting and am going to be acquiring a 51Fifty Osiris Rifle chambered in .338 Lapua Magnum. This scope will be mounted on that. hat rifle has the ability to pin targets at 2500 yards, and given the glass, magnification, and mount, this scope should have no problem helping me get rounds on target. The body of this scope is extremely well machined and the finish is flawless. The glass itself is crystal clear with zero distortion. Right now I have it mounted on my Winchester Model 70 chambered in 300 Win-Mag and took it out to 1200 yards. I was able to put 3, 3 round groups together within a 6 inch spread. Not too shabby for a rifle made in 1964 and a shooter made in 1972. If you've ever fired this kind of rifle, you know that it kicks like a mule, so if there was any chance that this scope would lose zero under fire, THIS would be the rifle that could kick it off target. I'm not sure how well this scope is going to hold up after a bit of abuse, but thus far, I am very very impressed and look forward to letting it help me reach out and ring steel. ... show more

Wow, oh, wow!! I haven't shot long distance in many years but recently started brushing up on my hunting skills. I took some shots without my new CVLIFE EagleFeather 4-16X50 AO Rifle Scope so I would see the difference. I was very pleasantly pleased when I added the scope. It is amazing!! I have old eyes, so I especially appreciate the magnification provided by this scope. I was hitting my targets with no trouble in just a couple of minutes!! I won't be able to do without it now. The scope ring for this out of the box should be used on anything bigger than 5.56. I have put it through its paces now and I’m very pleased with its performance. The glass is good, the reticle is a standard mildot, and it’s a second focal plane. The price makes this scope a steal for someone getting into LRM, hunting, or air guns. I shot out to a 1000 meters with ease. The lines inside the scope are a bit thick and the dots are blocky. It lacks the refinement of a Schmidt and bender, accuracy first, bushnell tactical elite etc. but the bang for the buck is totally there with this optic. I threw it on some obr throw mounts and shot my 308. Held up just fine. ... show more

I will be mounting this scope to my 30-06 rifle soon and going to the range to zero it in. My initial review is very positive. All the adjustments on this scope have a snuggly tight feel. Meaning that they move freely but require reasonable effort to turn them. That's a professional feel in my opinion. The optics, handheld, look perfectly sharp without any noticeable distortion.
