I put this on my Weatherby 7 mm magnum rifle. I was shooting out to 1000 yards with no problem and it worked great. I would highly recommend this to anyone. This is great when you’re hunting pushed the button tells you how far away the game is And shows you where to hold. Pull the trigger animal dead. ... show more

  • Burris Rifle Scopes.
Style: Eliminator III Pattern Name: Rifle Scope
I love the burris eliminator 111 scope it is the best scope I ever used. I am 65 years old and have hunted for over 35 years with various scopes but none could compare to Burris. I zeroed it in at 100 yds programmed in my ballistics from shell box. Shot at 200 yes it was right on. Tried it at 550 yds.3 shots in the bulls eye. Unreal the optics are so clear I can see the hairs on a deers nose at 100 yds. I hunted antelope in South Dakota with rifle in gun rack with extreme rough trails the scope took a good five hour bouncing and beating then shot a antelope at 300 yds dead on. Any other scope I owned would have been bounced way off bulls eye and would have to re adjusted. I have since bagged 5 white tail bucks all in one shot each. Burris makes the best scope I have ever used on a rifle. I have used it 4 years and never had to re adjust the settings it is always right on.I would highly recommend a Burris scope for any rifle. ... show more

Style: Eliminator III Pattern Name: Rifle Scope
OK, so I just received this scope and have only examined it thoroughly but not shot with it. In that context I am most impressed, it feels as rugged as a Nightforce (although internals will mean a lot), solid metal body, well positioned controls (although I would prefer a remote on/off switch); and an amazing number of accessories provided (sunshield, rapid opening caps for objective and ocular, rail clamps), great instruction manual and extensive ballistics chart. All in all far better than even the multitude of great reviews led me to expect. Burris certainly lives up to its reputation for excellent scopes. Of course the proof will be in the shooting. I shall amend review after I have the chance to test it. But if the other reviews are a key, the this is definitely a winner. I have been looking for technology to finally advance into daylight scopes and this one is certainly a quantum leap above manual scopes. I still have many manual scopes, and love to generate dope for each rifle and load, but this is genuinely a scope for those situations where shots need to be made fast but accurately. I might add that the seller was superb. Packing was excellent and the scope arrived within 4 days. Could not ask for more. ... show more

  • First round hits!
Style: Eliminator III Pattern Name: Rifle Scope
This scope is for real - no s--t for real! I was hopeful and after taking the time to set it up the system was drop - dead accurate! (I rarely use exclamation points too.) I used Hornady's four degrees of bullet freedom to get my 750 yard drop data when I zeroed at 100 yards, chronographing over 20 rounds as I refined the zero. Having that data and the BC for the bullet I use it was easy to program the computer. That done it was out to the country and steel gongs at different (unknown) ranges - 554 yards one shot 'ding!' Same over next four shots. Different ranges - first round hits. Different people tried the system to same effect. Bottom line - if properly set up (it's easy) and the trigger-puller does his or her job properly there's a very high probability of first round hits! It's worth the money. (I'm taking this optics system on my Savage 110BA Stealth, .300 win mag to Gunsite.) ... show more

  • Great scope.
Style: Eliminator III Pattern Name: Rifle Scope
It's an awesome scope . Just make sure you See if it's legal to use in your state . I could out that is not legal to hunt big game wit it in Oregon . Which is stupid . Not sure why not . You can use a range finder and a scope . Just not in the same unit .

  • four stars due to a simple issue
Style: Eliminator III Pattern Name: Rifle Scope
my second one. get it programed right and bam! right on. But for varmint (p-dog) or long range target needs at least 20X. Also smaller LED dot. As is led dot covers a complete p-dog or similar sized target ( they are about the size of a water bottle) I also wish you could toggle the LED on or off with the push of a button. Its great for big game as is but smaller targets not so much. But still love it. Its fun to play with. Make sure you have a accurate method for measuring MV especially if you reload. ... show more

  • Great scope - easy setup!
Style: Eliminator III Pattern Name: Rifle Scope
Fast delivery - well packaged. Don't forget to get the scope mounts if needed. The user guide for setup seems overwhelming at first but read thru it a couple of times and it will all come together. The guide does a great job of walking you through step-by-step. After mounting and bore sighting, take it to the range and zero at 100yds. Then it is just a matter of programming the scope with the ammo you're using. Setting my alarm clock is more difficult, so don't be intimidated by looking at the user guide, as it is quite detailed and by looking at all the print and diagrams makes it seem harder than it is. Looking forward to utilizing the scope for the first time in our upcoming deer season in two weeks. Will update after it's maiden voyage. ... show more

  • Great Scope
Style: Eliminator III Pattern Name: Rifle Scope
I am writing this review because there are not many out there. I waited about 6 months before purchasing this scope only because of the few customer reviews about it. Overall a great scope it comes with everything you need to place on your rifle and even a sun shade. When you first set it up just follow the directions step by step and you will not have a problem with your scope. I zeroed my scope in at 100 yards and was able to put the projectile side by side after a few rounds and user error. Then again at 200 yards I am waiting to try it out at 500 yards but that part of the range was not open at that time. Overall it's a great scope and worth every penny. This scope went on an AR-30 firing 338 Lapua rounds. ... show more
