  • Best Can Opener Ever!
The media could not be loaded. This Cuisinart Can Opener is the best can opener that I have ever owned, and I am 60 yrs old. I love everything about this Can Opener. First off the stainless steel is perfect, I love the shine and sparkle from the stainless steel, it has such a clean rich appearance. I've used this Can Opener for the past few months, and I've not had any issues with it at all. It opens any sized can very easily and has a smooth to the touch lid, no sharp edges. It also matches my Cuisinart stainless steel toaster, and they look amazing together! The motor is nice and has a lot of power, it's not noisy at all. It's also easy to clean because the part that cuts the can lids off come completely off in order to wash it, and it goes back on very easily. I love that this Can Opener is made of stainless steel metal, I believe it will last for several years of use. I highly recommend this Can Opener to anyone who's on the fence about purchasing it, just buy it! Furthermore, I give this product a perfect 5 stars, and I can honestly say that this is the best can opener that I've ever owned! ... show more

  • So happy
I had originally bought those cheap can openers that you set on the can and push the button and it does it for you do not buy those. It only lasted two weeks and it broke so I bought this one for my mother and it is so silent it’s great quality stainless steel. I wish I would’ve bought this from the beginning. She loves it. I definitely recommend buying this. ... show more

  • Nice can opener
Cons: Doesn't open larger cans without a battle. Would be nice if the lid magnet flipped up for when you want the lid left on the can to help keep liquids in. Pros: Easy to operate and works great with small and medium cans. It is quieter than others I have had. After my can opener of 15 years died earlier this year I purchased two other can openers, they were junk and went into the trash can. This one is much better quality than those. ... show more

  • Get One!
I've been using a cheap Black & Decker for years. After I got this can opener, though? Never gonna buy cheap again! This thing's got a super strong motor, it holds onto cans without slipping and simply, and delightfully, POWERS the lids off cans! It, to me, is what a can opener should be!

  • Great but with a short life span.
Bought this model November 30, last year, and by June, it no longer worked. When I got it, I tried to register it, but when I clicked on the "Next" button (I think it said "Next", but it was a button to go to the next step), it just cleared the fields and stayed there. I tried several times, but finally quit. What the heck, it was a Cuisinart; what could go wrong. We have a food processor that is over 20 years old, and my wife considered Cuisinart the top of the line. We bought a Cuisinart wine bottle opener, and it works great, but now I wonder how long it will last. (I will wait a while before I recommend or write a review of this one, if I do. Something has to really great or really bad for me to remark about it.) Well, anyway, the can opener stopped working; the handle is loose. The black plastic visible when the handle is detached for cleaning, is loose so the the handle is loose, and there is no way to tighten it. My wife and I have an empty nest, so it is not being used by children, and we are careful with out equipment. It has not been dropped and treated roughly. It is just engineered poorly and/or uses inferior materials. When it worked, it worked great. Easy to use, and about as automatic as it gets, but it did not last, and without being able to register it, the chance of getting it fixed are nil. I cannot recommend it. We've been using a old-fashion opener for the time being, but I will have to find something easy and reliable for the home. ... show more

  • Peace in the kitchen
Opens cans and leaves sharp edges. We don’t use the cans for drinking and it serves its purpose come time to make chili.
