I am so happy that I bought this record player from Amazon. I played some albums I have since the 60s and haven't heard for over 50 years. I bought my albums at Tachikawa AB, Japan while stationed there with the Air Force from 1966 to 1968. By the way I don't throw much away. I also still have my Sony reel to reel Tape recorder I bought at the BX and all the tapes I recorded. Still sounds great ... show more

It's a Meh item. The actual speakers are the biggest problem. They sound like tin, even with blue tooth. What saved me from returning it, is that it can play out to other blue tooth speakers. I really just want to use this to play old family holiday albums that aren't offered in any other format ... damn you Firestone. So this will do ok... not great, but ok. It's just a shame. This could have been a great item if they spent a few more pennies on the speakers. I mean, my phone's speaker sounds is better! ... show more

For the price, it works great. Speakers are acceptable for a small room, but I paired it with my JVC Charge 3 Bluetooth speaker for much better sound. My 20 year old daughter, who had never seen a “record player,” was easily able to use it after showing her the basics.
