Description

Whether you’re just getting into records, rediscovering a record collection long since buried away or simply adding a turntable to complete your system, the AT-LP60X fully automatic belt-drive turntable is an excellent choice. This affordable, easy-to-use turntable plays both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records and, with its built-in switchable phonon preamp, can be connected directly to your home stereo, powered speakers, computer and other components, whether they have a dedicated phonon input or not. An update of the popular AT-LP60, the ATLP60X features a redesigned tone arm base and head shell to improve tracking and reduce resonance. Noise is further reduced by the inclusion of an AC adapter that moves the AC/DC conVersion outside of the chassis where its impact on the signal chain is limited. Audio-Technical has been a leader in phonon cartridge design for more than 50 years, and that expertise shows in the AT-LP60X’s Dual Magnet cartridge with replaceable stylus. The cartridge is integrated into the head shell for assured performance and ease of setup. The turntable comes with a detachable RCA output cable (3. 5 mm male to dual RCA male), 45 RPM adapter, and a removable hinged dust cover. It is available in black (AT-LP60X-BK), brown/black (AT-LP60X-BW), gunmetal/black (AT-LP60X-GM), and red/black (AT-LP60X-RD).

Sounds no different than my buddies 500 dollar Audio tech record player I also have a nice sound set up. Yeah the outside might have a plastic built but its clean looks slick is light and the insides are what matter a lot. Super easy to set up everything is great hardware and balanced on the inside. It it auto stops when the record is does and the arm returns to place which my buddies 500 dollar one doesn't. I run this through my interphase and cloud pre amp and it comes out my jbl series 3 mk2 sounds amazing. I have all my type O negative records now and beyond happy I can play them on this bad boy. ... show more

  • Blown Away By this Turntable
Color: Gun Metal Style: Wired Pattern: Turntable
Alright, folks, let's talk about this Audio-Technica turntable. If you're like me, you've got a stash of vinyl tucked away somewhere and you're ready to dust 'em off and give 'em a spin. But if you're still rocking that dusty old turntable from the 70s, it's time for an upgrade. And let me tell you, this turntable is the bee's knees. I bought this during the COVID times because I really wanted to upgrade from the disappointing turntable I had had since I was 12. I had had Audio-Technica Headphones before, and was pretty impressed with their quality, so I figured this turntable was a safe bet. I'm so glad I went this route -- every time I play a record, I'm yet again impressed by how good it sounds and by how much of an upgrade it is. So let me jump into the review of this turntable: first of all, can we talk about how easy this thing is to set up? I'm not exactly what you'd call "tech-savvy," but I was able to get this thing up and running in about 5 minutes. But the real reason we're all here is for the sound quality, am I right? Let me tell you, this turntable does not disappoint. The music comes through crisp and clear, with none of that annoying crackling or popping that you sometimes get with older turntables. And the fact that you can adjust the tracking force and anti-skate means you can really fine-tune the sound to your liking. And let's not forget about the looks. This thing is sleek and stylish, with a gunmetal gray finish that'll make all your friends jealous. Plus, it's got a cover to keep your records safe from dust and scratches. In conclusion, if you're in the market for a new turntable, do yourself a favor and check out the Audio-Technica AT-LP60X-GM. It's affordable, easy to use, and most importantly, it sounds fantastic. And if you're still not convinced, just think of all the cool points you'll score with your friends when they see this bad boy sitting on your shelf. ** As a quick side note, I will say that I paired theses with the Speakers that Amazon suggested -- I believe they are Edifier. I'm pretty happy with this combo, I feel that the sound quality together is fairly pleasing, but that said I feel you can get a similar quality out of any set of good quality speakers. Just wanted to mention what I was working with though. ... show more

  • I love this thing.
Color: Gun Metal Style: Wired Pattern: Turntable
I adore my new turntable, which I paired with Edifier speakers. Takes almost no preparation or set up at all. Just plug it in, read the instructions carefully and do what they say, then hook up to whatever speaker situation you have. Amazing sound quality. It has options for 2 speeds and 2 record sizes, albums and 45s. I also paired this with the Vinyl Buddy cleaning kit to clean my old records. My ONLY issue with this turntable is the felt platter cover that it comes with. It feels really cheap and mine was a little bumpy on one side, which caused my records to seem warped. After changing that felt one out for a different one, it plays much better. ... show more

  • Really easy to set up, operate, light weight, low profile
Color: Black Style: Wired Pattern: Turntable
This is replacing a very old Bang & Olufson tangential tracking turntable that had finally gone kaput after years of keeping it going. I just wanted a cheap, simple, automatic turntable with lowish profile and smallish footprint to play LPs and 7' singles at 33, 45 rpm, with simple switching between the two sizes/speeds and no messing around with belt position as on pricey turntables. This does the job beautifully. Analog plugs from 3.5 mm jack plug in back of turntable for output to amplifier, no extra lead to reduce buzzing/humming noises - no need for one. It even has a nice little recess for the 45 adaptor (included) for when the center's been removed from a single - brilliant! I haven't experimented with whether it needs a pre-amp, or not - it depends upon which amp you're using and they're cheap enough to buy if you need one; and I haven't attempted direct recording to other media formats - I have $2000 player and old CD recorder/player set up for that so I can make my own CDs. I'm not into music on computers, digital downloads or all the awful modern crap from last 20 years. OK, sound isn't on the same level as a $1000+ hi-fi turntable, with all the 20lb weight, leveling, and the rest, but it is adequate for my needs. Would make a very nice starter turntable for a teenager who's maybe discovering what vinyl was all about 50, 60 years ago and spinning grand-dad's old records, or buying new ones since vinyl's back in popularity again after the wilderness years of 1990s - 2010s. It's nicely retro, without being cheesy. It just does the job without hassle. Back to analog. I bet you can even find a mono cartridge if you look around. ... show more

  • Needed calibration out of the box
Color: Black Style: Wired Pattern: Turntable
Purchased this model because it's supposedly good for beginners - overall feels sturdy, sound quality and built in preamp are good, but I did need to adjust the turntable speed out of the box. The 33.33RPM mode clocked 30.68 out of the box and was audibly wrong.

  • AWESOME TURNTABLE
Color: Black Style: Wired Pattern: Turntable
Love this player. Got it recommended by a buddy that’s had it for over 4 years and he’s loved it. If you are having issues figuring out how to set up the automatic plate underneath no fret, just look up a quick YouTube video, it’s very easy so don’t stress out. The quality is great if you pair it with some nice speakers. Doesn’t have any internal Bluetooth connectivity but you can get speakers that can do that. Has two nice speeds so makes records sound fast forwarded which is super funny and awesome, and just flat out looks clean in the black sleek color. Matches my setup! Buy with confidence! ... show more
