No risk with buying these pillows. They arrive vacuum sealed. Within an hour or two they plump up to very soft super filled pillows. The great thing about them is that you can take out as much or as little fill that you want, tailoring the pillow to your own perfect softness/support. Will buy more.

I really like how malleable it is without it being entirely flat and useless (like my previous down pillows). I love how customizable it is! I adjusted the stuffing pieces a bit until I had the right amount and it’s perfect! The only slight irritation I have is that it does need fluffed after the full nights sleep, I’m guessing due to the limited amount of stuffing I have in it. I've tried many of these shredded foam pillows, many pillows in general actually. I know it is really difficult when buying online to try and determine what to expect, even with all the reviews etc. I've been on the hunt for the right pillow for ages. Right off, this pillow is definitely on the firmer side. It offers more support than many I've tried. I believe due in part to the fact that the case that holds the foam filling is also foam, which adds a layer of support lacking in many of the others. I am primarily a side sleeper, who sometimes sleeps on my back. Finding the right support has been an issue. This pillow is squishy, but not to the point that you sink all the way into it and are left with nothing much in between. It is moldable, but also firm feeling at the same time. When I lay on it, my head sinks in a bit, but it then holds that support, if that makes sense. Others I've tried just allow your head to sink in too much, or don't give much at all. It also seems to me that the filling doesn't shift around as much as others, which would also leave you lacking support. The filling seems to be good quality and clean, meaning no weird, discolored, or hard pieces mixed in. The outer case is nice and soft. There isn't a strong odor upon unpackaging the pillow. Obviously you'd want to wash the case, and I threw the pillow in the dryer for 20 mins. Possible down side, there isn't really anything cooling about this pillow for hot sleepers. So, I would say, particularly for side sleepers, if you are looking for an adjustable and supportive pillow, then this might be it. I would definitely recommend giving this a try. However, if you like a soft and squishy pillow then this is probably not for you. ... show more
