I've tried many of these shredded foam pillows, many pillows in general actually. I know it is really difficult when buying online to try and determine what to expect, even with all the reviews etc. I've been on the hunt for the right pillow for ages. Right off, this pillow is definitely on the firmer side. It offers more support than many I've tried. I believe due in part to the fact that the case that holds the foam filling is also foam, which adds a layer of support lacking in many of the others. I am primarily a side sleeper, who sometimes sleeps on my back. Finding the right support has been an issue. This pillow is squishy, but not to the point that you sink all the way into it and are left with nothing much in between. It is moldable, but also firm feeling at the same time. When I lay on it, my head sinks in a bit, but it then holds that support, if that makes sense. Others I've tried just allow your head to sink in too much, or don't give much at all. It also seems to me that the filling doesn't shift around as much as others, which would also leave you lacking support. The filling seems to be good quality and clean, meaning no weird, discolored, or hard pieces mixed in. The outer case is nice and soft. There isn't a strong odor upon unpackaging the pillow. Obviously you'd want to wash the case, and I threw the pillow in the dryer for 20 mins. Possible down side, there isn't really anything cooling about this pillow for hot sleepers. So, I would say, particularly for side sleepers, if you are looking for an adjustable and supportive pillow, then this might be it. I would definitely recommend giving this a try. However, if you like a soft and squishy pillow then this is probably not for you. ... show more

Day #4 of sleeping on this pillow, and I just don’t like it at all. Every night I remove more foam pieces from it trying to make it softer, and I have taken out more than a Target bag’s with of stuffing at this point. I still don’t like it. It’s so hard; there is nothing plush or comfortable about it at all. My neck hurts in the morning. I am going to give it to my husband, thinking it is so firm that it could help with his snoring! Edited to add: I gave it to my husband to see if it would help with his snoring. He agreed to give it a try. Because it's so firm (a "brick", he called it), the pillow DID alleviate his snoring, which was a bonus! But he woke up with a stiff neck and back and is unwilling to sleep on it anymore. ... show more

This doesn’t have extra fillings, and after a while out of the air sealed wrap, it puffed up so much. This is totally worth it in my opinion. It’s also so fluffy and smells good!! It’s like I’m in heaven!! Who knew the puffiness is like twice the height of my hand with maximum fillings? Just for your information, my hand is thin and small. For people with big hands, it might be one and 1/4 of your hand. So worth king size! I love this!!!! ... show more
