Description

The ZZ Plant features glossy rich-green leaves that can almost appear fake. It grows best near a sunny window. From a sunny window to fluorescent office lights, the ZZ Plant is wonderfully tolerant of a wide range on conditions. Whether you're able to give it steady care, travel a lot, or just get distracted by all the stresses of daily life, ZZ plant survives it all. Water when the soil is dry (about once a month) and be sure all excess water drains away. If the container does not have holes, use approximately 2-3 cups of water, adjust as needed for your environment. The height is approximately 2-foot (22 Inches) tall, measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the plant. The ZZ Plant is a slow grower and is hardy in USDA Zones 10-12. Give it a boost during the warm months of Spring and Summer with a general-purpose fertilizer that is formulated for house plants. When the plant out grows the current container, it is time to repot. To repot the ZZ Plant, gently remove it from its current container and place it into a slightly larger container. Fill in any empty spaces with new and fresh soil and water thoroughly. I've purchased quite a few plants from Costa Farms in the last couple of months, and they've all been very healthy and packaged well for shipping. I ordered two of the smaller ZZ plants. They both arrived happy and healthy, and both boxes included little warming packs. The nursery is in South Florida and I'm in North Florida, and we've had really crazy temperature ups and downs in Florida the last few weeks. I thought it was super-sweet that they cared enough about the plants to include the little warming packs in case they got cold in their travels (= Costa Farms is a wonderful source for plants - highly recommend! ... show more

I love this plant! It arrived healthy, packed well even though the box was slightly damaged you couldn't tell from how well the plant looked on the inside. My ZZ plant arrived on time and is now thriving. There was about a 4-in new growth in the back when I got it and that's doubled in size in less than the 3 weeks that I've had it. I like the ease of getting this online and through the mail with free shipping. I would definitely order again from Costa Farms. This was my first time ordering a plant through the mail and I have no complaints whatsoever. I have moved it around to mostly low light rooms with either south facing windows or west facing windows. It's in my bathroom now with a small west facing window so it only gets a little light throughout the day and the last couple hours of the day it gets its most light and I've only just watered it a day or two ago for the first time because when it came it was heavy with water so when they say it's a low maintenance, easy and low to medium lightplant to care for I would definitely agree. ... show more

Shipper busted up 1 of 3 boxes in shipment. The petrals on that 1 plant were busted on bulb. I should have taken pics , + notified seller. But I will propagate them + end up with 4th plant that way - just a bit of extra care + time - they should be fine. Otherwise good plants, good deal.
