Longer cooking time, more nutrients will be lost, to better lock the food nutrients, a good slow cooker will keep a low temperature to avoid nutrients lost much after hours cooking, and still keep a tender and juicy taste.Q3: When to open the lid?- After the float value has dropped, you can open the lid.Q4: What are the orange dots in lid and pot base?- They are indicated marks to let you close and secure the lid more easily. I have to say something super important I do not put 10 stars because there ir only 5!!!!!!! This is amazing pressure cooker. I do not have nothing negative to say. I used already for a couple of month and this is amazing! Perfect size for a family of 6, super easy to use, super versatile. • Great Pressure Cooker!
Style: Pressure Cooker
I purchased the Cosori to replace my Instant Pot brand pressure cooker, which had failed because of a very small part that couldn't be replaced. It must be planned obsolescence. So far I am very pleased with the Cosori--it does everything my other one did and was considerably less expensive. It's very easy to use, is lighter and the inner pot is non-stick. ... show more

  • Affordable and Reliable
Style: Pressure Cooker
This pressure pot is really solid and works great for all kinds of tasks. It holds pressure well, making it super reliable for things like resin casting, degassing, and even painting. Plus, it’s got plenty of functions, so it’s pretty versatile. It's definitely worth the price.

  • Fantastic Pressure Cooker
Style: Pressure Cooker
Love the Cosori brand. First the air fryer and now the pressure cooker. This appliance does everything from slow cooking to pressure cooking. How great to have 7 appliances in 1. It is dependable and easy to use. I plan to make Cosori my go-to brand.

  • Excellent All In One Appliance
Style: Pressure Cooker
This has become my very favorite kitchen appliance. I love all the features it has to offer. With one appliance it can be a pressure cooker, rice cooker, slow cook (crockpot), saute, ferment, and sous vide. It also has other settings like delay start, keep warm and sterilize. What more could you ask for with an all in ONE appliance. I am in love! ... show more

  • Very pleased but the inner pot is already chipped
Style: Pressure Cooker
This would have been a 5-star review except the nonstick pot already has a chip after just a couple of uses. I have an older model Instant Pot and decided to get this for the upgraded features. The reviews are excellent and I have a Corsori Air Fryer I am very pleased with. Also, for the price of an entire cooker compared to a nonstick pot which I wanted to get for my Instant Pot to make cleaning easier, it seemed like a no brainer. The irony is, I'm probably going to have to get a replacement pot now since this one is already chipped even though I only used non-scratch silicone cooking utensils. (the inner pots for these two units are compatible) As for the cooker, I like the handle and vent release design. It feels more ergonomic and safer than my old Instant Pot. I like the cooking progress indicator and the ability to delay the start of cooking and the ability to set the warm mode on or off in advance after the cooking has completed. I've only used this a couple of times and will likely shelve my Instant Pot in place of this. Really bummed about the chipped nonstick inner pot. ... show more

  • Why did I wait so long?
Style: Pressure Cooker
It’s a keeper. Don’t think I have anything new to add. I bought the Cosori because it has a non-stickpot rather than the stainless steel used in the Instant Pots. It’s a big pot, and I knew that if I had to face the possibility of dragging out the Barkeeper’s every time I used my pressure-cooker, I’d never use it a second time. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and the food really does taste better. My first attempt was a ham and black-eyed peas, and rice and greens dish for New Year’s. Never did find a recipe, but from the ones I h ad I was able to figure out the times and it was wonderful. Have made soups and casseroles since. I like that the seal automatically activates when you attach the lid. I like that you can rest the lid on the side. I don’t like that the company so far does not sell replacement rings under their own name but it appears that rings that fit the Instant Pot will also work for this. I have studied and enjoyed Youtube Tutorials from The Blue Jean Chef and Pressure-Luck Cooking both before I made this purchase and also since. Also their cookbooks. The directions and recipes that come with the Cosori pot are not the most inspiring, but they will pass in a pinch with a push as long as you are motivated to look further. ... show more
