Longer cooking time, more nutrients will be lost, to better lock the food nutrients, a good slow cooker will keep a low temperature to avoid nutrients lost much after hours cooking, and still keep a tender and juicy taste.Q3: When to open the lid?- After the float value has dropped, you can open the lid.Q4: What are the orange dots in lid and pot base?- They are indicated marks to let you close and secure the lid more easily. Align the orange dot on the lid with the orange dot on the pressure cooker base, and then twist clockwise.

  • AMAZING!
Style: Pressure Cooker
This cooker is the best. Mexican dishes are just coming out great! Whether you are slow cooking, pressure cooking, sauteing, the pot is reliable, functional, safe, easy to use and clean, with good size and lot of cooking options. I would by again even for gifts. Very happy with it.

  • The most advanced pressure cooker I’ve used!
Style: Pressure Cooker
This pressure cooker is truly the most advanced one I’ve seen so far. It’s well-built and feels very secure while in use. The design inspires confidence, especially when handling pressure cooking tasks. It’s also surprisingly easy to use, with intuitive controls and clear instructions. One tip for using the rice function: make sure to use equal parts of rice and water (e.g., one cup of rice with one cup of water). I personally like to add a couple of extra minutes to the cooking time, and the result is absolute perfection every time. This cooker has quickly become a staple in my kitchen! Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a versatile and reliable multi-cooker. ... show more

  • Great temperature control!
Style: Pressure Cooker
I love this cooker. It does the job and I’ve made some great dishes in it already. It’s also great for making yogurt, particularly LReuteri yogurt. I made the yogurt straight in the pot. The first time I used jars but it turned out much better when I used the pot itself. My yogurt came out very smooth. I set it at 100F for 32 hours on the ferment setting. Beautiful results! I’m enjoying this pot overall. I’ve made some of the most tender chuck roast, and ground turkey taco meat. The results are so flavorful and juicy. ... show more

My previous name brand blew up and I had to replace it quickly three years ago. It is very well constructed and practically fool-proof. It is very intuitive to use. I haven’t tried all of the different functions but I am totally confident the it will perform each function perfectly! I am definitely going to look for Consori products in the future!! • It Makes Cooking More Effective
Style: Pressure Cooker
I've always wanted to use a pressure cooker, but was afraid they'd blow up. I had a stove-top pressure cooker than I never used. Just didn't want the thing to explode. However, this cooker is a whole other deal. I feel much more comfortable about using it. It's got safety features that would (I suppose) cause the cooker to stop or turn off if something went wrong. It has some pressure relief feature that, in the last resort, would allow steam to escape before any rupture could happen. I feel much safer with this. I am delighted at how this works. I can cook all sorts of things quickly now, that would otherwise have taken me hours. Beans, for example. I use dry beans, so first I have to soak them overnight, then boil them for an hour or two. That's fine if you're not in a hurry, and especially if it's winter and you can warm up the kitchen. But most of the time I don't care to wait around for my beans to cook. Now I don't have to. I also like the other features, such as rice cooking, stew, oatmeal, soup, sauté, and so on. I like that I can put on some rice, say, and let the cooker do its thing. I get decently cooked rice without having to hover over the pot. When it's done, it will automatically keep the food warm. It's got a slow-cooker function. I really like that, because I often make stew. This lets me set it up and let it go. I don't have to worry about it scorching the food. It switches to keeping it warm once the elapsed time is up. It is not altogether easy to clean. The inner pot is OK; it's got a non-stick surface and you can get it clean without too much effort. The rest of the pot doesn't really get much dirt, so it's also easy to clean. The problem is the top. This contains a silicone seal to keep the pressure in. This seal is replaceable, so it's a little loose in the lid. It is difficult to get in there to clean. There is a tendency for the odor of the last meal to linger. It requires a bit of extra scrubbing. All in all I'm pleased with this product. If I had to do it again, I'd buy it, or probably one that's a bit fancier. But this one is fine as it is, and I use it often. Definitely would recommend to others. ... show more

  • Cosori is a wonderful new name brand!
Style: Pressure Cooker
When I was looking for an air fryer, I compared many brands, most of which were already very happily owned by my family members. But when I discovered the Cosori air fryer with the 2 part, removable basket, I was sold. So, when searching for a crock pot/pressure cooker, I was immediately attracted to the Cosori brand because I was so satisfied with their air fryer. Both of these products work beautifully, are well made, sturdy, do exactly what you expect of them, and feature thoughtful little changes that make them stand out as extra helpful and unique. The multi cooker works just like the Instant Pot but has a small switch which releases the pressure, that is located a distance from the steam valve, for your protection and safety. Most of the others I looked at, have you flipping a lever ON the steam valve itself to release the pressure. There is also a little orange dot on the lid which lines up with an orange dot on the base unit. This helps you to actually see where to set the lid on the base, so that you get the correct closure. Cosori may not be the best known brand name, but I have been more than satisfied with two of their innovative products and would highly recommend that you try them! ... show more
