I have an 18ft round pool under a big maple tree. This little sucker moves quick! Picks up little sticks, leaves, sand. It does get stuck on some liner wrinkles but that's more my fault. Buy this, it's a game changer.

I've gone through several pool cleaners through the years. The chlorine is hard and takes it's toll on them. Parts are always expensive, replacing rollers and internal parts as they wear out. When I saw this cleaner on Amazon, cordless and rechargeable, I thought I'd give it a try. We have a medium size inground pool. As soon as I got it, I took it out of the box and had to attach a few parts, nothing difficult. I plugged it in, and charged it in a short time. They say it normally charges in about 3-4 hours. As soon as it finished, I took it out to the pool, turned it on, and put it in the pool. it acclimated itself, then took off on vacuuming the pool. It moved around, setting it's own path, back and forth. A few times, it hovered over the drain, and the suction held it in place and I waited, and it freed itself loose. I came back out later, and found it stuck over the drain again and it was about an hour later. So I knew the charge ran out. It didn't "Park itself" as it should do when the battery is getting low, but since it stuck on the drain, it couldn't. Using the tool they give you, I pulled it up, let the water drain out. I opened it and found a bit of debris inside, so it was doing it's job. In the future, I'll put it in the pool after the pump shuts off, so the drain won't be a problem in the. The tool to pull it up is a plastic hook that you grab a plastic handle on the cleaner. I see that as being a problem. It's not a sturdy plastic, so I envision it not lasting too long. I question how well it will vacuum in the long run. The openings where the debris is sucked up are pretty small. It picked up dust and small stones, but leaves, and we get plenty of leaves in the pool on windy days in the summer, stuck in the openings and obstructed it. I was surprised with the vacuuming power on this small unit. It was easy to open and remove the filter. I washed it with the hose, and it cleaned up nicely. I can clean it while the battery is charging, and it'll be ready to go. I am concerned that it only runs an hour. They recommend a smaller pool so it can clean in an hour. Mine is a medium size pool, so it might be bigger than ideal for this cleaner. Overall, it did a good job. It's nice that there are no hoses attached to it like the other, very expensive cleaners. We'd turn them off and take them out of the pool which was a bit of a pain so we weren't swimming around them. This cleaner does it's job on the bottom with nothing attached to it. For the price, it will save some manual work if I put it in before and after the pump is running and it will help keep it clean. Happy with our Cordless Robotic Pool Cleaner. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. We already had a pool vacuum, but it required hooking up the hose to either the skimmer or the vacuum port in the pool. We still use it from time to time, especially to clean the walls. That being said, we wanted something quicker and easier so welcome Winny the pool robot. Well, we named it Winny after the manufacturer name. This little guy is fast. It zips around the pool very quickly, however it does not go up the walls like the regular pool vacuum. Charging is simple, just plug it in. Be sure to replace the rubber plug after charging. To use it, just push the orange button on the bottom and it starts beeping. Place it in the pool and it will slowly drop down to the bottom. Every time I put it in, I think it is going to flip over but it levels out and sinks to the bottom (as you can see in the video). It will run for about an hour then return to where you dropped it in. It comes with a pole and hook to retrieve it from the pool. We found it easier to put the hook on our skimmer pole which is longer and it was easier to pull it out of the pool. It all depends on the depth. I have not seen it get caught up on the drains, which do stick up from the bottom a little bit. Cleaning it is also fairly easy. It comes apart in to 3 pieces for cleaning. I use a garden hose to rinse out the dirt and debris that the vacuum picks up from the pool. When you retrieve it from the pool after it does it's job, be sure to turn it off. As I mentioned, we still use the other vacuum from time to time, however if you just wanted to brush the sides of the pool - you could easily get by with just this. I have a 6-foot-deep play pool with a lot of mesquite trees around it and this pool vacuum picks up all the little leaves and sand that the pop-ups never get. I used to have to sweep it all the time, now I just sweep the stairs and the sides a little and drop this great little cleaner in gently, using the hook that is included and let it do its thing. When it's done I pull it out with the hook and rinse it out with the hose, after opening the four clips and recharge it for another day. I wish I had this years ago I highly recommend this to anyone with a pool that doesn't have a real steep slope! ... show more

I must say, it is absolutely well put together, has a high-end look, turns on and off with no issues, and arrived with instructions that are easy to read! ⁦Good little robot for a quick clean. I have purchased 2 of these now. Both have showed up with the rubber plug that goes over the charging port missing. I am so upset by this, I was really hoping it was just a fluke with the firs one. Also you cannot just but the little rubber plug anywhere on the internet.
